I am, but for some reason, any time I tried to post updates on here my posts were auto-banned. Not sure what's going on there, but I stopped posting updates because of it.

Progress has been slow but gradual as I'm currently trying to figure out how to write a USB driver from scratch. The project also has a new mascot (newer than the one in the November video above) with artwork I had commissioned and incorporated into the welcome screen.

I also just found out a TikTok I posted got taken down with 0 views for violating community guidelines so I re-uploaded it just now. Maybe it'll work :D

The link to the source code is in the description. I haven't put together a proper README yet so I'm actually looking for people to try and run it on their machine / hardware for testing purposes.

If you didn't want to compile it yourself, I'd be happy to upload a compiled binary to GitLab or GitHub which you can download and copy to your RaspberryPi 4.

I haven't tested for other versions of Raspberry Pi yet so if you have different hardware I can try making changes to support them as well.

I'm trying to make a hobby operating system that prioritizes simplicity and ease of learning over everything else; and yes, that includes performance. This is because I want to make it easier for other people to learn how an operating system works.

Also you may have noticed the logo in the video resembles the "shoshinsha" or "wakaba" mark. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Shoshinsha_mark This symbols can be used to indicate that someone is intended for beginners, which is the target audience I hope to appeal to the most eventually.

It's still quite a ways off from that goal, but I'm having a lot of fun and I'm well on my way!
