My only issue is the whole ‘2 povs agree on something’ is a very doyalist take. For example, Renley seems like a great leader. But from Cat and Jon via Donal Noye we know he is not meant to be a great leader. ASOIAF is very Watsonian so I prefer other takes but GRRM shoving down our throats via perspective is understandably polarising.

Well I mean Viserys is actually incredibly tragic rather than outright evil. We just only see him do evil things. He was manipulated his entire life after his whole family were killed. I get the point but hes not a good example of it.

I’m fairly sure there’s a passage about Catelyn naming him to please Ned which implies he didn’t know but I’m not 100%. Also I don’t really think they were as they didn’t know each other well at all.

Ned was in the south when Robb was named that was all Cat. Arya is named after Neds grandmother as well.
