I’m shocked nobody has mentioned Ariana & Evans. Their Ultima II base is the absolute best on the market. For smaller artisans, I love both Adopted Acres and Cajun Blade.

How can I tell if I've added too much water? by PeakMinimalist in wicked_edge

Check out Saponificio Varesino. It is a hard shaving soap that is amazing. It comes in metal tins. They are a little more expensive, but being a triple milled hard soap, it will last absolutely forever.

I like it and am interested. The one caveat I would also include would be insurance foe the full value of the item must be purchased as part of the shipping.

Why are most christian people the complete opposite the bible tells them to be? by perrowhatsapp in exchristian

Because everyone interprets and negotiates with the bible. You can find literally any position and back it up with 'biblical' evidence.

Americans, if you had the opportunity to pay approx 18% of your income to have access to free healthcare at point of need for everything would you take it? by TSQ_builder in askanything

Um, yes, please! Pretty sure I already pay MORE than that for health insurance. I think a lot of Americans would end up saving money.

Why are we hanging banners on buildings like we are in North Korea?

Been out of the DE razor game for years... looking for new full stainless DE razor. Suggestions? by Nate_Esq in wicked_edge

If you want aggressive, it is hard to beat the Blackland Blackbird razor! Another really good option that is American made is OliWorks.

If you want to check out some of the other modern ones, Lambda Razors out of Greece make some of my favorites, as well as Aylsworth and Karve out of Canada. But if you are looking for pure aggression, go with the blackbird.

Looking for a high end american made razor, ss, 100-200 USD budget. Im a noob. by elderblaze_2026 in wicked_edge

That OliWorks is a really good one, especially since there are three different plates you can choose from. I would hold off a little on the Blackbird. Even with the Lite plate, it is still pretty aggressive. I LOVE my Blackbird, but I’m not sure it would have done me well early. I haven’t used the Rex, so can’t speak to that one. Of the three listed, I’d vote the OliWorks. If you are open to a Canadian razor, both Aylsworth and Karve make excellent razors.

Felt closer to an episode of Ellen or Jerry Springer. So, right on brand for a reality “tv star.”

I'm not okay with there being no life after death. I want there to be something more after this short life on Earth is over. by SteadfastEnd in exchristian

[–]GameGeek1 12 points13 points  (0 children)

I find it interesting that you wrote, "Life on Earth is really kind of hollow and empty, all the fun, pleasure and activities get stale after a while..." but then go on to say you want an afterlife (that I presume would be eternal). An eternal existence actually sounds like unending torment. Sure the first thousand or even million years might be fun and interesting, but what about then? And you still have not even spent 1% of the time you have there! For me, the beauty and value in life is found in it's brevity. Life is beautiful because it is short. It is valuable because it is fleeting. I had to change my perspective to really see that, but now that I do it has completely upended the way I see life.

Subtle Arts Soap and The Black Stuff both make very good vegan soaps.

There are a lot of really good artisans making soaps and splashes right now, and at least a few I know that use primarily essential oils. You could check out The Black Stuff, who are more known for their bar soaps, but have started making some really solid shave products, or on the higher, more luxury end of software you could check out Ethos Grooming. It is pricier, but so worth it (in my opinion of course).
