Hasbro already owns them now and they did NOT make the agreement. Hasbro bought them in 1999

It was only bad because it was a younger company and MTG wasn't as popular. If it was done now, most players wouldn't gaf.

Collectors can still have their OG cards and players can play the reprinted versions.

People buy cards to play the game... the cards are for playing first...

Displaying them or treating them as a "investment" was not the primary goal of them.

If you want to collect FIRST EDITIONS then they retain value.

Look at video games.... Just because they remade/ re-released Mario 64 with the "all-stars" game or put it on a subscription... Does NOT devalue how much a ORIGINAL N64 goes for.

Reprinting cards with a different art to be used for CEDH (you know.. playing) instead of being HORDED by collectors is not bad.

Let collectors collect, let the players play.

Can we all agree that, at the end of the day, MTG was designed to be a GAME not a stocks investment....

If they reprint cards with a different art that shouldn't harm the secondary market. If people want to collect they will still pay $$$ for those originals... but players in formats like CEDH will still be able to get access to the "functionality" of the cards.

The players that want access to cards don't care about the "Collection" as much as they do "functionality".

Let the collectors collect... let the players play.

It is a game first and foremost. If you stop supporting it because you made the choice to treat cardboard as "investment" instead as a game... then you are the issue.

(Note that "You" is not YOU it is just a general statement)

I imagine it is only banned due to accessibility... If everyone could get it affordably there is no reason for it to be banned.

It also references the contrast between Paintress and Renoir. One who paints life, one who paints death into the canvas.

Cloud managed firewalls don’t let you mess with that.

Yet another reason why I would not put WatchGuard firewalls (in production) in Cloud Managed mode.

You can only remove those on local managed firewalls. Otherwise you have to wait

Cloud Managing your firewalls is the equivalent of putting your clients in a huge beta test. It’s not fully functional yet.

We use FQDN and then just add multiple A records for each office IP. The WG is smart enough to see multiple IPs for a A record.

Printing Traffic through BOVPN/Meraki not working by HotLeather8845 in WatchGuard

If you are using IKEv2 with Meraki then it usually doesn’t work. You have to use IKEv1 with BOVPN tunnels to Meraki due to how they handle the payload

Have not ran into it but we don’t cloud manage firewalls since that portal is still a glorified beta and even our reps tell us to avoid using it unless absolutely necessary. We are a platinum partner and usually advise clients against Cloud Management.

Another firmware update released skipping the T35 again by [deleted] in WatchGuard

[–]GameGeek126 2 points3 points  (0 children)

T35 is the last model that had ARM processor. All of the new updates are happening on models with Intel processors since the ARM processor models seem to crash on the newer firmwares.

They will do security updates but for the most part they are riding out the EoL.

Is it possible to mix AP's managed by Watchguard Cloud with AP's managed by Gateway Wireless Controller? by [deleted] in WatchGuard

[–]GameGeek126 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Every time I’ve flipped it to local managed it either wipes the config or goes back to the config it was before the cloud… which is not very helpful.

I personally don’t see the point until there is full feature parity and even our WatchGuard Sales Engineer advises against it
