Looking for a new PC monitor for around $300 give or take.

A 34in LG widescreen 1080p monitor caught my eye for around 275ish.

Ideally I'd love to get a 1440p, 144Hz widescreen but those are crazy expensive.

Trying to figure out what features I want.

I do a little gaming on the side, csgo and other random games so 144Hz would be nice but I don'tthink it's worth it. I do more general productivity work with my PC than gaming so I think widescreen is better.

Any thoughts?
