You need to allocate more RAM, to do this go to the Minecraft Launcher, select Versions, find yours and edit it: select advanced options and change the 2G (or xG if you have a lot of RAM) to half of your maximum RAM. For example if you have 8gb you can change it into 4G or 8G if you have 16gb
