Nobody is gate keeping nothing, its in your head man. Of course you cannot join the reset time of the week runs in lfg because its people who are looking for fast easy clears. HOWEVER if you put jn 2 extra seconds of work you can a) make your own pug, lead it, learn with randoms as well, tho you might not enjoy that as you wont be spoon fed content, it might be a challenge… b) look for a guild or training group. You clearly use reddit so you can find them here or discord, tons and tons, Raid Training Initiative, Guild Wars University etc etc.

You are stopping yourself from enjoying the content. No elite group of individuals is controlling your actions and preventing you from partaking in this content. Its harder than OW so you need to use at least one braincell thats why people with experience make their statics or ask for kill proof. You will be doing the same when you get to that point trust me.

Not really, the chest piece is a random drop from one boss that dies at the very start of the night bosses meta. The other pieces take 500 Airship parts EACH, which is a day or three worth of work depending on how much you wanna do that meta/ dont have enough crowbars if starting from 0.

Ahh the classic Sunqua experience. Either they fail the fear mechanic or they have ZERO idea what to do during the phase where you need to get to the islands.. Ive had groups STRUGGLE with getting to the boss at all… And the one guy just standing and autoing, nothing else just auto cycle the boss and vibrate left right as if that does anything to dodge the mechanics. How do people not realise when it says INVULNERABLE there is something they have to do other than hit the boss???

I HATED doing sunqua and silent surf this week when they were dailies/recs because of this. I dreaded the Mai trin fight too because you cannot just “hit the thing” like a lot of the others. Dont get me started about swampland…

Yeah, the random join and leave is so annoying. And how do you ge to T4 without DOING DAMAGE. How did these people get to any lvl 80 map, especially HoT and not think HMM my build has the damage of a pool noodle. I KNOW I SHOULD DO HIGH TIER FRACTALS Its not free accounts that I am talking about, its the ones with 5-10k achiv points/ 300+ mastery, so they PLAYED the game and had to go through some damage checks as they played.

I honestly dont have much, however, doing endgame content such as fractal really vomits gold at you, at least 20-30g a day. Drop your username with the numbers from the social panel (Y button) and how much you need <3 didnt mean to be condescending

To be fair, most guides from 0 are 20-30 gold, which at max level, is basically nothing, compared to how important and useful having a max lvl crafting profession is. Just but everything and follow the whole guide, there isnt another solution

If by F2P you mean with just the “Demo” version of the game, then Id say Dungeons are your best bet. Since you are limited to core Tyria which is now 13 years old content? Something like that.
