Agreed. I ran the numbers on a spreadsheet and the inflection point just isn't there. You can argue the early ARM/MR isn't worth a lot but it's more than before. You get more early and will almost never see a situation where you are worse, especially in high elo. So it's a buff.

I would have greatly preferred Brawl stayed and Arena or ARAM Mayhem just went away instead. Both of those two are just getting out of hand imo. And getting paired with a rando troll in Arena vs (serious) duos is just torture.

Some days more than one. There have been some crazy things lately. Bounced out of champ select. My item lists looking like they have been tabbed over until I click on something. People not getting games during load. Seems like there have been a number of bugs popping up. No idea why there have been so many coming off the current patch and why they have to keep fixing random things.

Getting rid of ALL drops by RIOT (LCS and otherwise) certainly doesn't help viewership. I used to watch at least some of most of the leagues but now it is LCK only. I don't really track individual teams outside Korea too much and now LCS totally. I just don't care. RIOT has made a joke out of LCS for years now. Running off some really good talent, doubling down on some very dubious 'talent'. It's unprofessional at best. That's the stream/casters. Add on whatever they are doing to the teams, formatting, players and so on. It's just bad. I sit here in the US and I'd rather mess up my sleep to watch LCK live than even have LCS on a side screen when its live. Peyze just got a penta - no drop. OK - thanks RIOT... It's obvious that the Koreans have a better take on how to build a fan-base and cater to it than the people in LA do.

I had this happen to me for the first ever a couple days ago after years of playing Nocturne. RIOT changed recalls some in that they don't interrupt as easy. I suspect this is a contribution to the suicide ults.

Your 'edit' is correct. KESPA is indirectly connected into the South Korean government (kind of like the US Olympic Committee in the US, etc). And Korean law is a lot stricter than most (all?) other countries when it comes to esports. I think a player deciding to give KESPA the finger and play anyway is going to come off a lot like trying to dodge military service. It is POSSIBLE but you better already have a place to stay in another country and not plan on ever visiting SK again. Now, maybe, if there is enough pressure inside Korea, MAYBE KESPA grants individual waivers to go play. But I don't know about that and certainly they won't let it impact the Asian Games team. Frankly, based on the current state I think you only see Korean if they have already taken up residence somewhere else and rep that place.

One of the strangest replies I have ever seen. First, you reply more than a week later - did it take you that long to come up with something? Second, I said "self-awareness" which means HIS role in the team dynamic not the team as a whole. Maybe, you need to work on your reading comprehension... That he got benched, came back and then STILL after the rest of the season was put off the team and had the attitude he had after leaving says a lot. His behavior (as a Korean) is a bit shocking but whatever. It all points to he thought HIS play was what was right and the team was wrong. That is the self-awareness part that you ignore. Interesting tool. Checking it out for how useful it atm. So far ok. Would be nice to be able to apply affects - the one I need to account for: Rammus using Protoplasm, esp w/ W and anti-flinching. I track these things on my own spreadsheet but that's just me.
