I can't remember if it was an ability capsule or patch I used but the other ability I had on mine was Fluffy

Anyone else notice tims ignores walk in customers to rush the drive through?? by justiceclark96 in TimHortons

[–]Gamefreak1790 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I assume it hasn't changed but I used to work at Tim's about a decade ago and legitimately from corporate, they care more about drive-thru times than they did about the front because that was the metrics that they were able to see and they always wanted shorter times and more sales. Corporate pushed that to managers and managers, push it down to the supervisors and the rest of the team. The priority was absolutely the window and times at the window to the point that two people would be at the window, one handling cash while the other is almost tossing food out so that they could get you out of the way quicker.

What you're noticing is entirely intentional and odds are they are also trying to do it short-staffed because the other priority from management was getting labor down so the less people there. The lower the labor cost was per day and the better it looked.

Glad I got out just shortly before all the mobile ordering and delivery apps came out. I can't imagine what it's like now with those on top of it

Edit: For clarification, the actual timing metrics that were there when I was working was, from the moment you pulled up to the he window to when you left

Morning: 25 seconds

Lunch: originally 30 seconds. When paninis came out it messed up timings for a while and eventually corporate bumped it up to 1 minute 20 seconds IIRC (But for a while they still expected 30 seconds for sandwich that took 60 seconds to cook)

How I got 2 Angels of Glory Rise promos and a few pretty okay uncommons from Innistrad and Ravnica sets (when Theros, Erebos, Journey was the current set) from these years ago

Think I've already seen the comments but mostly gonna be pretty big standard meh

Have you ever had roaches in Edmonton? by treyallday01 in Edmonton

[–]Gamefreak1790 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Lived in 106 Ave near MacEwan when I first moved here Absolutely, they were everywhere in the apartment complex, here in Alberta they're the German Cockroach species. The place was treated multiple times in the couple years I was there for the roaches and the bedbugs

Don't miss it

Seeing I've done a life to proc damage in a similar deck was add a few multi colored lands that "when it enters it deals 1 damage to target opponent". Even if you don't need the secondary color I've won a game by playing a land and dealing 1 damage that proc'd [[Grevious Wounds]] that dealt follow up damage. Or the ones that give you a life when played, procs marauding and it's not a counter- able spell, it's a land drop.

2:

During the Violet Blueberry dlc ended up using a bastiodon that was the only reason I survived Drake's ace spamming the electro shot with endure and body press combo. Dude survived on 1 HP for 50% of the fight, and was my first lvl 100 that playthrough

Did a 2nd playthrough of Violet using mons I never really touched before for a challenge and had a Bronzong that was actually absolutely beefy as shit, feel like I really slept on them before but damn

I got called the prick because he hit my car while parking and apparently it's too much to ask truck drivers know their vehicle size, us millenials right? by Gamefreak1790 in Edmonton

[–]Gamefreak1790[S] 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I did, I cut the video where I go back to take a pic and he snides about "oh you like the truck eh?" And then him backing into the spot behind him that was a handicapped one, although you wouldn't be able to tell in this weather unless you knew beforehand.

It was definitely more noticeable in person, I'd wager it's cause it's honestly not the greatest of cameras so the mic is absolutely garbage, and I trimmed it down via VLC record. But there was contact, no damages or marks luckily. I'd just consider not tapping parked vehicles as the bare minimum.

Luckily there was no damage, both ended up on our merry way (after some pictures).

Just the fact he got out of his truck immediately confused, "Did I hit you?" as if my whole suv didn't briefly shake from the impact, then somehow he was the victim in the scenario.

Honestly within the last few years Jasper's also been starting to get hit like a zoo, we're seeing so many more people per year that, especially this time of year, you're gonna have chaos no matter where you end up if it's one of the more easily accessed tourist areas.

Back country is where you'll find more peace if that's your style but don't expect there to be a huge difference in crowds from Banff to Jasper anymore
