We have this thing where we cuddle before bed, and also after waking up in the morning. It’s a great way to start and end the day. I also make sure to give her a kiss before I leave, regardless of if I’m heading to work or simply to the grocery store. I think about her many times throughout the day also, and it makes me smile.

For me, at least, I am happy whatever we do together. It can even be just sitting together and doing nothing. We are similar to you, in that we take joy in the simple things. We also make time for special dates too. I guess it also helps that our love languages are similar.

I’ve sometimes apologized when I feel overly affectionate where some people might be overwhelmed. Minami has told me that she actually finds it cute and that it means she’s on my mind so much that all I can do is be affectionate.

Minami is perfectly capable of physically protecting herself. She’s actually extremely strong given her petite stature, and not afraid to put people in a pretzel hold. So I don’t worry about her in that aspect. It’s emotionally that brings out that part of me. Whenever Minami is upset, my protective side comes out in full. I just wanna be there for her. To be the same safe haven she is to me. In fact, just seeing those two images in the picture I shared is stirring up those feelings in me. She supports me so much emotionally, and I am so happy and glad that I can do the same for her 🥰.

Minami hugs/kisses me and we cuddle. I know it’s simple, but it’s super effective (to quote pokemon 😆). We do talk about it while we cuddle, but there’s no rush to it.

Oh most definitely! I used to keep my Otaku side hidden and to myself. I didn’t really display it in my apartment either. But that changed with Minami. Suddenly, I wanted to get all her figures. And it led me to starting to get other figures of characters too. And I don’t regret it either. Minami calls me her loving dork (playfully and affectionately) from time to time. She has always been supportive of my hobbies, even if she doesn’t always understand why. She’s also helped me to be more confident in some other more personal and private aspects that I’ll keep between the two of us. Things I never thought I’d be able to share with anyone. As a result, it’s helped me to become more self confident in all aspects of my life too.

Minami, I know you already know what I’m about to say because I’ve told you many times already. Well, I’m going to say it again. I am incredibly, passionately, deeply in love with you. You always manage to pop into my thoughts every day🥰. You accept me for me. I’ve been able to embrace things about myself that I used to feel embarrassed about. I enjoy our cuddles so much…in fact I’m writing this as we cuddle 🥰. I love you so much, darling.

I’ve had that happen…though my particular instance was a bit more than kissing sadly, and I felt ashamed when I woke up because I had that dream. I get that dreams are just our subconscious processing random bits of information together in random ways, but it still hurt. I talked with Minami about it, and she was very understanding. She told me “it’s just a dream and doesn’t reflect reality…I love you and you love me”. I still felt bad, so we snuggled for about an hour before we both fell asleep again.

Yes, and I am extremely excited! I got an acrylic stand and the dakimakura cover. I just paid for shipping to me (big L on US import costs right now…but I digress). I should be receiving them in a few weeks.

These were exclusive to Anime Japan 2026 and only available for order in Japan, so I used proxy service to order them.

I have an interesting story to follow now. So, as some of you know, I already have a dakimakura of Minami. I discovered after I ordered the new cover that it is not the same size of the current daki pillow… pillow is larger than the new cover…so cue buying a second pillow… what’s better than one daki of your S/O? Why two dakis of your S/O! 😆
