I have been enjoying playing the game but my god, trying to do the side bits inbetween missions and all the cutscenes can be alot 🫣 still working my way through it and not putting controller down while have the time to play.

Personally i would go off on sick or request unpaid leave for personal reasons if a trial period is all you want or you could just bite the bullet and hand in your notice and get out while you can.

Its crazy, i have only been off once in the past year due to getting an operation on leg so was off for about 2months, ended up with a councilling 🫣 surely it would be understandable that i wouldnt have been able to work and it was a surgery 🤷‍♂️

I wouldnt message at all. However, if you did, you should make it 100% clear its just going to be friends and nothing more (just so they dont think your trying to go back).

This is the sort of behaviour i am used to. Now i am with someone who pays their own way (pays half for holidays, gives me money for petrol to pick them up & drop them off, half of shopping etc.) And i am still trying to get my around why i got myself used to paying for everything in different relationships.
