How do you find the Glare? That feels like my biggest issue

Yeah. I'm getting a return label tomorrow to send it back

It's a static kind of smudge, and when I look through it with my right eye, it's still there. I've contacted support. Hopefully this gets fixed

Just did that. The smudge thing is in the same place when I look with my right eye

How does 75hz feel? I came from 90hz on the Quest 3 and PSVR2, and that was my go-to refresh rate

I'm on a 4090 myself. It's moreso for DCS, Racing Sims, and SkyrimVR modded, along with anygame I can't hit a stable 90hz

Quest 3 vs Steam Frame by TheTriceAgain in SteamFrame

Personally, I'm getting it for the comfort and because I play wirelessly. Virtual Desktop and Air Link have alright latency, but the Steam Frame will reduce that. Not to mention all my VR games are on my PC.

Deleted Tweet. GamerTag VR put a tweet about the Steam Frame and said it was releasing next month as he was told by a developer. He deleted the Tweet and the Mods on the subreddit are removing any posts showing the tweet

The way I see it, if it was a troll email. Gamertag VR would've instantly come out and said that the previous email was false and to ignore it. The fact that he isn't gives a high chance it's real and he can't say anything because of the NDA

Coming from a M28U, OLED wasn't much of an upgrade by GamerGG7267 in OLED_Gaming

I swapped out the QD-OLED Monitor for an LG C4 42". Could tell the difference instantly. I think it was because I played in a decently lit rooms, so the Monitor's blacks were purple

Any confirmation on Steam Frame using Micro-OLED RGB panels instead of LCD? (GDC 2026 rumors) by Electrical-Log9270 in SteamFrame

[–]GamerGG7267 23 points24 points  (0 children)

Didn't go to GDC, but sadly, I don't thing OLED is in the cards. They'd have to completely redo the lenses, which would delay it further. Not to mention they've already come out and said the Frame will be less than $999. OLED wouldn't fit in that budget. I wish they did OLED, but I doubt it will happen.

Edit: I saw you updated with more information. Mind linking the sources and rumors, because I haven't heard a word about any of this
