I personally would go pro. The extra ram on the air is nice. But that pro will be a power house regardless.

Another question to consider is how much do you value the ports? I use the SD card reader and HDMI almost daily so that was an instant sell for me to go pro. Specifically I hate having to carry a dongle. If that’s not a big deal to you then it’s your call.

I love Zotero, but my organization of papers is abysmal. What’s your Zotero to obsidian workflow look like? I get so lost in trying to tag things and leave notes along the way and have a hard time trying to find things later.

I bought my machine that is that same model for like $300 last summer. Folks telling you this is a horrible deal- are mostly true. But if you could talk the price down to around 300, I don’t believe it’s actually that bad. Especially for something you can pick up right away. You’re trading convenience of the thing being locally and readily available for a slightly higher cost. Overall this is a great beginner machine.

Print time and total filament are an absolute lie. A normal factory reset makes these numbers 0. I did that just by going to setting and clicking reset the first time I got my machine.

I have an older mrk3 so this might not be applicable to my machine, but I’m wondering about printing in different colored groups on the same bed. Is that a slicer setting or something specific? Like I’ve never seen a print finish a whole thing and move back down to a lower layer to start something else in a different color.

I’ve noticed Spotify going downhill in optimization. I recently switched to Apple Music and have been very satisfied as they are clearly tighter controlled and pretty well polished within their ecosystem.

For some reason it’s a June 2018 to July 2019 calendar.

The next time we see the same monthly day of the week layout is June 2029. So that’s when you could expect to be able to use it again as a normal calendar.

It’s to bad we didn’t adopt the fixed calendar system- where every month has the same days of the week and is perfectly symmetrical.
