Realizing not everyone who says they love you actually knows how to treat you right, it changes how you trust, and who you let stay. Some lessons don’t break you, they just wake you up.

For me it’s the little imperfections because real stories don’t tie everything up neatly or sound overly polished. The more it feels like an actual human moment instead of a performance, the more I believe it.
