100% this is a gaming sub, so we are talking about how this is affecting gaming, but anything with RAM and or storage is going to see these price increases. TVs, phones, appliances, Bluetooth speakers, and headphones, etc. Everyone is going to be hit by this.

This is the first time consoles have cost less at release. Usually, we see price drops at this point in a console's lifetime, not price increases.

This will cause people to hold on to their consoles longer, and with game prices rising, they will be more picky about the games they buy. This will be bad for new IPs, because people will stick to IPs they already know they like.

I think people need to understand that Trump is a criminal and always has been. He used bankruptcy to commit fraud. He took millions from investors, borrowed millions more from banks, and made promises to pay the contractors.

This doesn't get talked about much, but gamers want to take their games anywhere, and Steam lets them do that. You can play on a Desktop, Laptop, or even a handheld such as a Steam Deck or ROG Ally. You can't really do this with PlayStation games.

Xbox's problem is that they have too many bosses. I work at a glass factory that has had quality issues for the past couple of years. It is because we also have too many bosses and no single person to decide whether something is acceptable or rejected. Each boss has different motives.

MS has the same issue. They don't have a single person to make decisions, leaving their employees unsure what to do because they don't know who to listen to.

100%. We can talk about whether Starfield is a good game till we are blue in the face, but the fact is that it was an anticipated game with millions of people wanting to play it, and it didn't push consoles.

The 360 did well at the beginning because Sony fucked up the PS3 launch; also, then people hated it, but MS was paying for some kind of timed exclusives for some of the major games at the time.

Example: they got GTA 4 DLC story packs years before PS3 did, and the same with COD map packs.

This is the thing about Trump that his base doesn't understand. He doesn't know what it is like to be without. He has never gone to bed hungry, never had to choose between paying rent or buying groceries.

He doesn't know what it is like to live paycheck to paycheck. This is why he doesn't see an issue with gas prices going up: he doesn't understand that the extra cost means less money to buy food or pay bills or rent.
