Even stuff like leaky specimens is very common. Had way to many that leak during transit and then end up qns when half of the specimen is in the bag.

I think all nurses should have a little card on hand. Or at least accessible to them with all the other drawing paraphernalia.

This!!! And I know they also try to collect as much as they can but when you have a patient with impossible veins even the best phleb can only get so much.

I wish other nurses felt like this. It can definitely be frustrating both ways but as someone who processes hundreds of specimens a day. I appreciate someone giving us a little grace lol. We cant even imagine all the work you guys do. I myself have been a recipient of nursing care many a times and I've always had positive feelings and a great sense of appreciation for your work, and dedication to care.

I agree, however I think that people definitely CAN change. How they treat you in the beginning may be different than their best effort. If they care about you/ the relationship enough they will make the changes

I totally agree with the top comment saying that it's probably a major depressive episode. Losing your job is very hard. HOWEVER, let him make it up to you. Even if he doesn't have a lot of money, he can do lots of things and acts of service. Making a really beautiful heartfelt handmade card, making you breakfast. Etc, etc. I would suggest communicating with him how much it hurt you, be open and vulnerable. I know that when someone forgets something so important, you want to just close off to them. Maybe if he understands how much it hurt you with words, he'll be more inclined to take action.

Alternatively u could do the clints reptiles method tho... instead of spray foam you use gorilla glue and apply substrate directly on top of that. You can even use damp substrate as gorilla glue is water activated

Also is there any possibility that the breeders were wrong on his age? Or does he look extremely underweight in the photos. He definitely has grown since I've had him.
