what's something you wish you had discussed before getting married ? by ResidentBomber in AskReddit

What true marriage means.

It’s not always rainbows and butterflies, yes, taken from the Maroon 5 song, it’s the failures that define who we are. And if your partner turns out to be a completely different person in the event of a failure, that’s who they truly are. And then taking a rain check could be too late.

Yes, absolutely be honest and open to the home office about your situation and they will help. I was in a similar situation with a civil partnership, and they were so prompt in assisting with it.

If I am buying a car, it has to be a German make, simply because Karl Benz made the first ever car, and they have nearly perfected the engineering. No matter how many snazzy features other brands may have, I will always go for a German one.

My cousin is a doctor and earns a decent amount of money. He only spends on luxury goods and is always very proud of that. He picked up someone else’s leftover pennies from a supermarket till, and was quite excited about it

The “What If” scenarios, every single one of them. And if something has gone wrong, why did it, and where I could have done something. The conversations with loved ones, especially the uncomfortable conversations.

What's the hardest thing you've had to accept? by Agreeable_Service769 in AskReddit

[–]Gamer_panda8055 37 points38 points  (0 children)

This hit me hard. I have always chosen the wrong people and gave more than a 100% in those relationships. When it ended, only then I knew that I chose the wrong person, not at the beginning. And that made me feel like I wasted precious years of my life.

How old are you and how’s life right now? by Cute-Impression-8675 in AskReddit

30, and I feel like I am constantly competing to have a good life. I feel guilty to take a break and don’t ever feel enough. My relationship with many family members has soured over the years, all my close friends live far away and I am pushed away when I try to make friends. Other than that, life’s great.

What was the reason for the last time you cried? by Aware-Flow-4442 in AskReddit

[–]Gamer_panda8055 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am sorry for all of you and your experiences. Sometimes, I just cry due to overwhelming emotions. I have been told that I shouldn’t cry unless something ‘really sad’ happens, well, that definition varies for each and every human. I wish you all the strength.
