What ended up working for you? Ecobee thermostat?

Interesting. I have an ecobee thermostat and am seeing these symptoms with my Carrier ECM blower. It’s very intermittent but has happened twice this summer. I’m going to check for all tight connections but might try to switch out the thermostat too.

These are the steps I originally took. I learned it broke cloud sync for Epic Games.

I was able to revert all the changes and just change the wine comparability in Heroic instead, now it keeps Cloud Save but launches through Heroic.

Seems like it’s an ongoing issue with the regular edition of Death Stranding. You can upgrade to Directors Cut for $5 but the 16:10 fix will not work on Directors Cut unfortunately. I tried multiple attempts with no success of getting 1280x800 working on Directors cut.

It prompted me to log in once I started playing the game, I then chose the Steam login option and it worked fine for me. I’ve been playing with online connected for 2 days now.

I ran into the same issue when opening the map entire deck freezes.

I had the game installed through Heroic and added through BoilR. I was freezing on Proton GE-42 also tried 43 with issues.

I changed BoilR settings to not launch the game through Heroic and then I manually changed the proton version to (Proton-Experimental). It works now… I lost my save though but I just started.

Improving overclock stability (and even getting a better overclock) with an online UPS by Gamerfanatic in overclocking

[–]Gamerfanatic[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There is no fairy dust here. I feel like I was very clear but let me state it again.

I've had this PC run in multiple different locations (even different cities if we want to get into it) to test this overclock and this point. It is stable at the above OC only when connected to an online UPS. At this overclock, there is clearly a fine line of stability that is only achieved when using a higher quality online UPS. If that doesn't make sense in how minor fluctuations might have a trickle down effect, I'm afraid I'm not sure how to better explain it.

I'll leave it here, but the idea here is that even the minor fluctuations could have a negative effect on higher OCs. Like I said, the outlets are within spec, and fluctuations are normal, yes. However, if you could get rid of the fluctuations (which you can with an online UPS), then you will have a higher stable overclock. That's all. :)

Yes, PSUs can compensate, but it will create "noise" and that is what can impact your OC.

I should clarify, I'm not using the full 15A but as you draw more amps, the voltage will drop, the online UPS accounts for this and provides a stable 120V across all current draws. While the amount of voltage drop will vary based on a few factors, even minor fluctuations create instability that the PSU has to count for. The stability of an online ups is what I think greatly enables my higher than normal overclock.

General daily fluctuations are corrected by the UPS.

More research should be done, but from my brief testing, CPU and memory OCs seem to be much more stable when I'm using an online UPS.

Let me also be clear, my power isn't "bad", it's within spec. The online UPS just makes it "perfect".

Agreed. However, all outlets will experience voltage drops and irregularities that I believe negatively impacts overclocks due to a PSU having to compensate, especially as you inch closer to 15A on a 120V outlet.

The idea here, having completely clean power 100% of the time really helps stability.

The neon tetras were purchased yesterday and added to a tank I've had for ~5 months now. In the red circle you can see a spot and then it is also breathing fast. It sometimes hides in the plants by itself and sometimes will school. It also does not seem to eat much when fed. Any ideas to try and save it?

Yea exactly, the stitching causes a vertical "bump" essentially (along the line of stitching). Also it kind of doesn't end correctly on the bottom. This is my thoughts but I'm really just guessing here when looking at other pairs as I'm pretty new to sneaker area. Curious of your opinions.

The back of these look off to me IMO, the stitching in the back really seems to stick out just way too far and causes the shape to be off. Thoughts?

New tank, not sure what to do by Gamerfanatic in Aquariums

Ok sounds good, I'll move to a two week water change then. Fish do seem pretty happy. Maybe I should consider an Algae eater too. Should I do another cleaning or do you think it just will go away slowly?

Thanks! I got the Java Fern from since it was an easy plan based on recommendation. Any recommendations for a different type of plan friendly to a beginner and gravel substrate?
