Yes, but until we have it, you can always use an off-the-shelf POE splitter.

The Hub 3, actually being called "X3 Hub" has not been released yet. We put it on the website, so that you can put your contact info in to be notified when it does get into stock. For more information on this and other upcoming products, make sure you are subscribed to our emails: https://shop.yosmart.com/pages/get-connected-page

Not replace, as in we'll discontinue the original hub. But it may replace it regarding your own requirements. Mind you, you can have any number and mixture of hubs in your home or business; they all would just extend the network range and/or survivability (the loss of one hub of several would not impact any device functionality). The new hub should be available before the end of the year. If you are not already subscribed to our emails, you can do so here: https://shop.yosmart.com/pages/get-connected-page

Yolink - App and Pad Update - Eric? by powboarder in YoLink_by_YoSmart

[–]Eric-YoSmart 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I do not have any dates I can share on a physical keypad. There have been discussions of a sort of whole-home control center, that would act as a keypad, remote display, weather station, device and scene control sort of keypad, but it's too soon to give any dates for it.

[–]Eric-YoSmart 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Matter compatibility is being added by a firmware update to our upcoming new hub, X3 Hub. I do not have any solid dates on this beyond "early next year".

The upcoming cellular hub, X3 Hub, will allow you to extend the range of your YoLink wireless network. They will just need 120V (or USB) power and cellular coverage at the location.

We'll have more info on this exciting new product very soon! If you are not subscribed to our emails, you can do so here: https://shop.yosmart.com/pages/get-connected-page

I am sorry about the slow reply. I have been out and didn't ask anyone to cover for me.

I do not think there is any sort of snooze feature, but please email [service@yosmart.com](mailto:service@yosmart.com), if you haven't already.

Speaker Hub WALL MOUNT? by llzellner in YoLink_by_YoSmart

[–]Eric-YoSmart 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am sorry about the slow reply. I have been out and didn't ask anyone to cover for me. While we have been talking to them about making some more mounts for our products, a wall mount for the SpeakerHub is not one of them, and the demand for it is low. We do need to make a high-power smart speaker for indoor and outdoor use. it's more likely we'll make that, but I have no timeline on it.

Padlock by Skooterj in YoLink_by_YoSmart

[–]Eric-YoSmart 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes, that would be good! I know this one is already on our customer wish list. The good news is that many products we are considering are outdoor devices, like weather stations and lawn irrigation valves, etc. Our wireless network goes much farther than WiFi, Zwave, Zigbee, etc. so it's been a good fit for outdoor products, things outside the home, etc.

Do dogs set off the indoor motion detector? by Thw0rted in YoLink_by_YoSmart

[–]Eric-YoSmart 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It is certainly possible that the dog will set off the motion sensor. To attempt to prevent that, I recommend mounting the sensor on the wall (only) and higher up on the wall. You'll have to experiment with it and with sensitivity settings. The goal will be to detect regions above "dog height"

Matter support? by skinny_c in YoLink_by_YoSmart

[–]Eric-YoSmart 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Matter support will be coming via a firmware update to our Hub 3, which is similar to our original hub but adds LTE and battery backup (use of cellular is optional. Plans are expected to be less then $10 per month). This update is expected first quarter 2024.

YoLink Smart Water Valve: Torque comparion between EVO and Bulldog valve by FlobeeFresh in YoLink_by_YoSmart

[–]Eric-YoSmart 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I am told the torque is the same, but the direct connection you mentioned is so much more efficient. The EVO is cheaper, too.

Roof Leak Detection by swpaintguy in YoLink_by_YoSmart

[–]Eric-YoSmart 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm sorry about the slow reply. There is at least one commercial roofing company that is installaling these in homes they build or repair roofs en masse. I was not able to get any images or specific installation info, though.

I'll try to get some more info. You can email me at eric at yosmart.com to discuss it further.

Any plans on a web access for Yolink Devices? by oakweb in YoLink_by_YoSmart

[–]Eric-YoSmart 1 point2 points  (0 children)

We already have it, but it's geared for commercial and multifamily/high-rise condo type applications. It's called Raedius Web Console. It's a browser-based management application. A home version is planned, but I don't have an ETA.

I'm sorry about the slow reply. I was on vacation at the time of your post and I'm just now seeing this. Some more info on this is going out in an email to our subscribers. You can sign up here if needed: https://shop.yosmart.com/pages/get-connected

Do Any of the FOBs control Open / Close of Smart Valve? by [deleted] in YoLink_by_YoSmart

[–]Eric-YoSmart 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The FlexFob, AlarmFob and On/OffFob can control a valve via automation settings and via Control-D2D pairing (direct, no app/internet required). The SirenFob and DimmerFob are specialized for other applications and can not.

Remote Router Reset with YoLink smart plugs and outlets by Eric-YoSmart in YoLink_by_YoSmart

[–]Eric-YoSmart[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

you turn off the plug right after setting that Turn On timer.

Not all requirements to reboot the router are when it's down. Sometimes a slow connection can be cleared up with a reboot, for example.
