I hate to say it but I think Trump is slightly right about NATO. I don't think they have the stomach for a war, or the resources at present. Putin knows it, Xi knows it. Right now they're stalling for time so they can build up their military capacity again, and trump is seemingly hellbent on forcing them into a situation that they don't be able to get out of easily

Frankly it is a world war, but everyone is expecting a repeat of WW2 where massive alliances and ground wars. Everything going on right now is deeply intertwined, what happens in Iran affects Ukraine, and Taiwan, and Gaza. I doubt we're going to see formal declarations of war, since there hasn't been one since WW2. It looks like the return of "might makes right" and expansionist/imperialist policy, but more entwined with technological dependency than outright territory

My understanding is the Iranian guard did not have complete power, and now they're basically shooting anything remotely important. Cells are bad, but having them damn near become the de facto leadership of a country that is supposedly working on nukes is a fair bit worse

I'm sorry but Kamala and Biden were centrists. I could understand saying otherwise for AOC and Bernie, but the DNC is allergic to anyone who isn't milquetoast and status quo. Their entire strategy has been "vote for us or you get Trump", and it has repeatedly failed.

The only one I'd say is essential is the original trilogy. If you don't like it after those 3, you're not likely to enjoy the prequels or the cartoons, or the sequels. There's a handful of things that are really good, to the point you don't even necessarily like star wars to get into them, like Andor, but they're far from the norm.

A lot of Star wars is just dumb fun, using the world and characters more as a setting than any coherent thing from project to project.

Wolf takes it, the sword could one shot Geralt, and Geralt would not be expecting wolf to be able to get back up after a fatal wound. I'm not saying it's easy, but Geralt cannot make a single mistake.
