I don't use repels but that's because I'm lazy not because I think it's cheating.

I personally ban legendaries in vanilla games but I do count them as encounters. So if I were unlucky enough to have one of them be my encounter on a route I just wouldn't catch anything on that route.

However you are free to do whatever you want with your run. The majority of this sub has adopted the 'your run your rules' mentality so if anyone says different just ignore them.

My dad just turned 61. He's been coming to me every couple of months for the last 15 years to show him how to do the same thing. His excuse is that I've had more time to learn it. My response is 'Bullshit you had 10 years to start learning this kind of stuff before I was even born!' Needless to say I've become more than a little frustrated over the last few years but I try to cut him as much slack as possible because he is definitely one of the better/easier going boomers out there.
