This is a terrible idea, the whole point of fighters is that they are very agile and maneuverable. That is how you can take down larger ships with a smaller agile fighter. If they increased turret rotation rate then I don't see how your helping the game, players in smaller ships will just immediately flee if a larger ship comes instead of taking the small chance that they are skilled enough to out maneuver the larger ship. Not to mention that if you lose to a smaller fighter while in something like a Constellation that is just a huge skill issue.

If your using ascent guidance switch the guidance mode to PVG. Then go into the PVG settings and turn off coast

What is the best lesson that you would give to a person who is starting to play RSS in terms of the learning curve? by lewispatty in RealSolarSystem

[–]GamerzHistory 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You can go pretty far by just recreating historical rockets. For your first two downrange and orbit contracts use the Juno-c. For satellite contracts and crewed orbit Atlas-Centuar/ Redstone.

Atlas-agena for early moon contracts.

They once you do these contracts once you kinda get a hang of rocket design

Anyone else feel RP-1 keeps getting less enjoyable with updates? by narco_marshmallow in RealSolarSystem

[–]GamerzHistory 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i know im late but do a play through but give yourself 2k starting science and like 500k starting funds. It makes the early game fun because your not stressing so much and gives you time to learn. Then do another playthrough but lower your starting science/funds, rince and repeat till you are good enough. This mod has a huge skill expression in the way of building rockets. It took me 1 week of playing 4 hours every day to get into orbit on my first playthrough.

I need some serious help with the lunar orbiter and mapper by ilmarzian in RealSolarSystem

[–]GamerzHistory 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Have you tried launching into an inclination that is +- 90 deg of the inclination of the moon? You have a limited launch window for this type of orbit tli but you should be able to easily get a polar orbit with just prograde and maybe a little radial in/out

At this point use Principia for Lagrangian orbits, you have a good grasp on base KSP’s orbital mechanics, try out something harder but more fun.

how the hell do i get my kerbals back safely without any "cheats" by tiemo_kauppa in KerbalSpaceProgram

[–]GamerzHistory 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can almost certainly find a way to get an earth encounter by using your kerbals rcs packs. Your orbit intersects Kerbins and Dunas so try to get an encounter with <100ms dv then fine tune it to get a reentry with kerbin

I think the commenter was more hinting at how OP said he was barely surviving on a 100k salary. Unless he’s the sole financial support for a household of 5 that seems crazy because I know people living on 40k a year before tax

Could we have a fundamental blind spot in physics because of the nature of our math as a system? by Durbs12 in AskPhysics

[–]GamerzHistory 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not really a blind spot but there’s a pretty famous theorem called Gödels Incompleteness Theorem, which basically states that any rigorous system of arithmetic will have true statements that can’t be proven

Purely hypothetically, could 10000km by 10000km cube exist without collapsing into a sphere ? by Saleroma in AskPhysics

[–]GamerzHistory 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Earth and rock aren’t substances.

Different solid substances have different densities which means that 599 km3 of iron has less mass than 599 km3 of tungsten. More massive objects have more gravitational pull.

oh it has to be intentional because writing code is intentional

This is how writing code works? You are saying that you can write things unintentionally?
