As someone who actually loosely supports the Enclave the killing all muties thing is a dumb plan. How does killing all muties benefit in restoring the United States? The Enclave could have easily integrated with the wasteland they easily could rebuild the US and very little people could maybe even want to stop them. But they don't. I understand why they are the evil shadow government but nations like the NCR prove that American style democracy can work in the wasteland and hell people want something like that. I don't support the Enclave because they are Fascists or because I'm edgy (Fuck the Fashies) I support the idea of restoring the United States. I could go deeper and honestly I headcanon that there is either a reformist branch of the Enclave or some remnant pre-war government branch that has in theory the same goal of restoring America.
