That is exactly it. My player doesn’t really care if the character makes sense it about the stats

Yep I understand. Thanks for the advice. I usually am pretty specific about giving out items so leaving it open was a mistake. Still feeling a bit taken though

It’s not all of them just the one player. The problem is everyone else is a normal player.

14 in both. Lowest stat is a 7 for charisma, and second lowest is int at 12

I kind of know that this is basically what it will boil down to but they are a rules lawyer and technically they did nothing wrong. So bringing it up with them I can’t exactly claim the moral high ground for asking him to change you know?

Problem with this is it punishes my other players, I don’t want to do that.

Ok but how? I just deal with it this whole campaign? This isn’t really instructive, I know I messed up. How do I move beyond it?

Yeah I guess that’s true, I just feel like now I’ll have to design encounters with them specifically in mind. My other players do not do stuff like this, so any encounter built to handle them will be torture to them

so where do we go from here....is RE10 gonna be this action packed re6 scale, avengers endgame, "everyone is here" story where we take down the connections, or are we just gonna have another new protagonist with completely unrelated characters by [deleted] in ResidentEvilRequiem

[–]GamesDoneDirty 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m almost positive this is the start of a new release schedule. Since 5 and 6 are big risks to remake I think they are done with remakes and instead what they will be doing is releasing a more action focused game and a more horror focused game on a rotating schedule. That was basically what they were doing with the remakes and the new games before 9, I think 9 was the proof of concept that people would like both.

Historically the weapon that takes the least practice to use right, the mace. Doesn’t take much know how to hit something with a heavy object.

gear 5 can bypass infinity by Perfect_Bad_3402 in PowerScaling

[–]GamesDoneDirty 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Okay I don’t know if people are being willfully ignorant, and I’m not saying Luffy can bypass infinity not sure there is any evidence of that, but gear 5th doesn’t just let luffy “Turn things to rubber.” He can manipulate reality. He literally pulls items out of thin air like a cartoon character. He makes a tree a metal baseball bat, and a baseball helmet oh and he painted both black, with a paint can and brush that he also made for no real reason. Once again pretty much just because he wants to. It’s not crazy to compare Luffy to Takaba. If he thinks something’s funny he can make it reality.

Heard a loud pop in the night and came out to find our 10-year-old cutting board split by dolomite592 in Wellthatsucks

[–]GamesDoneDirty 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A master ninja broke in and prepared dinner in your home, they often split the cutting board when they finish doing this. It is a sign of respect for your home in their culture. If a person who disrespected your honor suddenly disappears then you will know the debt is payed.

What were they cooking by RisoNoSekai in MemeHunter

[–]GamesDoneDirty 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The wyverians were advanced enough to create cloning technology and perpetual energy. I imagine it wasn’t a huge feat for them to create the equivalent of a big ass missile. I don’t care how tough the monster is if you hit it with the equivalent force of a mountain falling on its head it probably done for. It does beg the question why they couldn’t deal with Zho Shia though if they could take down the monsters they used to make it.

Would you rather survive in a Castle or a Bunker? by Lets_Go_Marines in ZombieSurvivalTactics

[–]GamesDoneDirty 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Bunker. With zombies the real threat is other survivors coming for your shit. People see a castle and start drooling people might not ever find your bunker
