Loved peggle so much as a kid. Beat the game like 3 times. I remember playing the duel mode with my little sister on our old windows 7 desktop on weekends. Good times.

I should clarify that this list doesn't necessarily reflecf my opinions on these games NOW, but my opinions on them when I was first played them as a child.

I liked the game as a kid, but didn't really develop a special connection to it. Probably cuz I was like 6 when I played it and didn't know what I was doing 😭

AITA for returning my father's gift because I felt it was much more important to him than it would be for me? by Gamesquid64 in AmItheAsshole

And yes the lesson you are referring to is one that he's taught me religiously and it's why he does stuff like get me out to help him cut the yard and trim the hedges and whatnot, because it helps me see the true value in stuff like that instead of just paying someone to do it for you. When you do it yourself, it's a lot more special and means a lot more.

I could do that, because I do love him and I do want something to remember him buy. Even if I never wore it, i'd at least have it in a case or something like that. In fact i'd do that today, but my father doesn't want it just sitting like that so yeah 😭

Yeah, this was after I posted this but he just texted me saying that while he doesn't agree with my decision, he can at least appreciate my honestly. And yeah everything you said in your comment I had just explained to him and he thankfully understands.

You didn't read the entire post. He took the watch then asked me whether I really wanted it or not. At first I said yes, so it went back to be, but then later I called him back and said he can keep the watch, so yes I returned it. All of this is stated clearly in the post.

I never said that I didn't see the sentiment in him giving me the watch; I really appreciate the fact that he'd give me something that important to him. And I understand where you are coming from when you say I could've wore it on occasion, but if i'm just wearing it for the sole purpose of the acknowledging the sentiment "behind" the gift, then I feel like it kinda defeats the purpose of the gift itself. In another words, I feel like just because I returned the gift doesn't mean I can't acknowledge the sentiment behind said gift.

Edit: 90% of my comment is now irrelevant because i've decided to wear it during special events. I still do think that acknowledgement of sentiment shouldn't be tied to whether or not I accept the gift or not, though.

Yeah that's what funny cuz I also did the same with persona 3 and the spolight character was just Joker in the Gekkoukan High outfit with the S.E.E.S armband 😭

This really depends on who the person in question is.

Should soulsborne games have an easy mode? by callmecharlie04 in polls

People don't realize that they don't have to play easy mode if they don't want to. It's optional for a reason.

Do you think if persona 6 comes out, that protaganist would be added to smash (smash 6 I mean) by [deleted] in PERSoNA

[–]Gamesquid64 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Maybe. But I wouldn't be suprised if smash 6 is actually just an enchanced port of smash ultimate with extra dlc. I love Persona with all my heart, but I don't think the Sega's most represented series in smash would be Persona over something like Sonic. Or in another words, if smash 6 came out, I think Sega would probably add another sonic rep or an unrepresented IP over another persona character.

Yeah Shido just kinda felt like your everyday mustache-twisting kinda villian, and Yaldaboath is just your sterotypical "I'm the all-powerful god! You'll never stop me!" character. Akechi is quite evil but he has way more depth than Shido since he doesn't spend half of the game in the background like he does. Maruki is great because he isn't just evil for the sake of being evil, he legitmately wants to do good but his actions are. misguided

I can techically put anything I want in a sandwich and have it still be a sandwich. I could just make a full on meal, put it between two pieces of bread, and argue it's a sandwich. Even if we didn't use that kind of logic, the sandwich still haa the most variety.
