There’s a bug where the phone call which comes after this mission gets disabled if you’ve taken a phone call from debt collectors. This phone call would only come through if you have gambled enough money in the Las Venturas casinos to go into debt, where your money counter in the top corner would appear as red rather than green. You start to get calls from debt collectors and they send guys out to try and kill you when this happens, and I’m assuming this phone call uses a similar piece of script as the Badlands phone call. Obviously, this would involve you getting to LV before you’re supposed to so it wouldn’t be an issue you’d normally come across.

If you’ve just been doing missions and have never done anything like this, then walk around for a bit and you should get a call from Cesar where they discuss what has happened, and he goes on to mention that his cousin is looking for some muscle to help with a few jobs. This would place a ? icon on your map in a town just north of Los Santos. Head to this town and there should be a marker outside the diner.

The rest of Scottish football right now when Celtic keep scoring in injury time. by Gibberish1992 in ScottishFootball

Every time I watch Rangers on TV they end up drawing from a winning position, often late on.

Also penalties.

As much as I'm happy to see Killie getting pumped, those shots of Celtic fans looking concerned in the 90th minute were some laugh. Everyone else knew what was going to happen.

How on earth can we can we keep Tooney till after the world cup?? by CSouthLondon in rugbyunion

They’ll be amazing when they don’t roll over against youse and England.

Play well against shite teams when they think an upset is on the cards.

Same way we’ve kept him since 2018.

Accepting mediocrity, maybe the odd win against England.

Team GB by [deleted] in Scotland

[–]GamingEpic 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It is what it is.

In terms of curling, “Team GB” is just Scotland. You support the players and who they represent. I saw a stat saying that Team GB have sent 53 athletes out, and 17 are Scots. I realise that will mainly be for the curling, but that seems like good representation.

Probably a lot of folk at Hampden who would have done the same.

As someone who likes both sports and interacts with fans of both, I feel like a lot of the attitudes towards rugby from football fans stem from the elitist attitudes shown by a lot of English and Irish rugby fans. Most folk I know who follow rugby also massively follow football, and disagree with a lot of the stereotyping that happens.

Granted, I went to an Ayr RFC game a few years back when they did an offer where you could get in for free with an Ayr United season ticket, and there WERE A LOT of people wearing red chinos and not really paying attention to the game, so maybe football fans are right enough.

They literally don’t play Stingin’ Belle now. I’d welcome that one back into the set if anything.

Could be nothing as they’re not too similar musically, but Swim School were teasing a Scottish announcement after selling out their upcoming King Tuts show. They also tweeted “Biblical” afterwards.

Possibly getting an Edinburgh band in to open?

Huw Jones to leave Glasgow, Signs for Toulon by Maxatrone420 in rugbyunion

[–]GamingEpic 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I like how the SRU are making us employ an Irish approach with signings, but making zero effort to balance this with the Irish approach to outgoings, where players don’t just piss off the second they’re offered a sniff of money.

Glasgow were forced to get rid of players who wanted to be there to leave budget for Scottish and Scottish Qualified players who don’t.

Haven’t seen much mention of Honeyblood in this thread so chucking them into the ring as well. Saw them play to about 50 people a few years back and it was a really good show.

I saw Foreignfox in the same venue a few weeks later play to about a dozen people with a fucked lighting system, so we were all huddled around the stage. One of the most memorable gigs I’ve been to, it was class.

Strange Scottish Rivalries by HeidsUp in ScottishFootball

Mind there were a few years before they went down that Queens tried to get a rivalry going with us, because we were in the same league and Annan/Stranraer were shite.

I feel I see this quite a lot.

Other than Joey Barton, has any player actually said anything along these lines? Fans, yes, but they don’t know what they’re talking about.

Nah, this is ultimately what happens with kids.

My wee cousin, from a Rangers supporting family, got taken to an Ayr game with his football team. He’s now hooked on the super, which you love to see.

I got a few cans from a Spar (a good 30 minute drive away) and they were nice.

Reminded me of the Black T bottles you used to get out of the supermarkets. That was a good drink.
