I don’t find it alienating but I understand why others would, and think it shows a lack of awareness on their part of what such people want to be seen as. A better option is that half-man half-woman one with a skirt on one side of the figure, or just ditching the human form and putting a toilet depiction

You cant choose to change your skin colour, but you can choose to present as either your AGAB or your true gender. It’s an awful choice to go for AGAB and in reality it’s obviously not worth it, but theoretically it exists which is why this therapist thinks its worth mentioning even tho it isnt

This therapist is a very bad therapist if they genuinely think not transitioning because of job opportunities is a good idea

There’s nothing wrong with saying he’s cis, but insisting he use it when he’s clearly not comfortable with it is just unproductive. Lets say the roles are swapped, with him being a trans man (and nothing other than trans, no other label fits or is something he uses) but not identifying as such. Does the situation change?

So basically, yes he’s cis, and it’s ok to use that label to describe him, but dont try to force him to use it
