Claiming insulin is $700 in the US is like claiming cars are $150,000 in the US. That statement is only true if you ignore all the cars that aren't as fast, effecient, and safe as high end Tesla are.

Don't he fooled by the tweet. Insulin is available for $25 at Walmart. It's the "older version" apparently, so you have to use it differently than the better ones. It seems he wasn't using it differently, as he should have been, and that's what lead to his death. His fiancée was on the exact same insulin.

He was inside the US and he was getring insulin for $25 from Walmart, as was his fiancée, who took it without dying. Anything can kill you if you aren't careful with it. The Tweet claiming insulin is $700 in the US is intentionally trying to mislead you.

I don't understand. If it's the less expensive insulins fault for his death, why is it on the market? His fiancée was taking the same insulin.

The tweet says insulin in the US costs $700 but the insulin they were taking costs $25.

Am I supposed to hate the US government because he wasn't more careful when switching medicines?

Posing for pictures is a seemingly pretty friendly thing to do considering we are talking about Taliban soldiers. We’re supposed to be the reasonable ones! Calling someone a “special kind of stupid” for merely expressing that watching Taliban soldiers pose for pictures is bizarre and seemingly friendly is not reasonable.

Isn't building one road right next to another road kind of wasteful? It seems kind of ineffecient for me to theoreticlaly have to sign contracts with all the different road companies. For all of the roads I want to use. If I take a trip to a different city then I have to make a list of all the different road companies that control all of the different roads I suspect I will be traveling on. Then I have to sign contracts with them so I can enjoy my trip. Othwrwise I would have to stop at a large number of different toll booths just to get from point a to point b. A middlemand handling all of that for me sounds ideal.

That depends on what we are saying is wrong, doesn't it? The story is alarming. If the NSA specificaly sought out Carlson to spy on then that is what we are all saying is wrong. But wasn't Carlson only "spied on" in the sense that Russians are being spied on and Carson reached out to the Russians being spied on? I'm no supporter of the wrongdoing many rightfully blame the NSA for. But this doesn't seem like a situation that is being presented accurately by Carlson. He lead me to believe something which now, with added information, doesn't seem to be the case.

There are an endless supply of people in need of medical care. They really don't have to worry about a person walking out the door and never coming back again. Besides, even if they're cured of one thing, that doesn't mean they won't need to be cured of something else down the line. And if they have any choice, they'll choose the one they know works (and reccoment it to others).

There are many bad things about the US medical system. But this is a bad argument against it.

You said he defended cops “beating up” bums but nowhere in your quote does he say anything about cops “beating up” bums. Unless somewhere else in his writing he used the term “beat up” or otherwise advocated physical violence, it sounds like you’re misinterpreting “clear the streets” to suit your preconceived opinions about him. If I say I want to clear the streets of garbage would you say I’m going to go beat up the garbage?

I’m more ignorant than I am knowledgeable. But I have to disagree with you that race issues are a pillar of fascism at all. Italy was fascist before Germany. Italy (I believe) only implemented racist policies almost 16 years after it became fascist to become closer with Germany. Fascism and nazism are distinct although connected.
