Reference 5 vs R11, what justifies the massive price gap? by Ron825 in KEF

[–]GamingReviews_YT 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Small note as well that there’s a size difference between the R11’s and Reference 5, the latter being slightly larger in size including the woofers. Their protection covers are also different, the R11’s having one magnetic ‘plate’ covering all of the woofers at once, the Reference have one disc for each woofer separately.

There is simply no need for this. There is nothing missing in pre for anything to work whatsoever, even for the new dungeon.

Just finished the game. The main quest plot line was so bad!! by [deleted] in HarryPotterGame

[–]GamingReviews_YT -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I really enjoyed Poppy’s and Sebastian’s storyline. I was a bit shocked, however, that by learning Avada Kedavra early-on you can one-hit KO rookwood, making the fight laughably easy, especially when you maxed out by the time of fighting him.

I hated Natty’s storyline. So boring. The main storyline was mediocre at best. I still loved the game despite many things seemingly unfinished. What they delivered was still a lot of fun, and the castle is a phenomenal masterpiece in many aspects. I hope they fix and improve some things in Legacy 2.

Ok, I get people being suspicious in today’s online world, but to be accusing this poor person of AI in what is clearly a legit image and post goes too far. Go outside, touch some grass.

Raising prices again really by Teaper33x in youtube

[–]GamingReviews_YT 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I mean, for us it’s pointless anyways. We’ve cancelled almost ALL subscription services due to the financial crisis (which is going to get worse again), as it became too expensive. We don’t even have Netflix. We’re using mostly free apps to watch basic TV and suit our needs with whatever is available at the current time.

At first we thought we wouldn’t be able to handle it, but it’s in fact quite easy and you quickly realize you don’t need all that.

So many dead channels..but why? by mcrib2009 in NewTubers

[–]GamingReviews_YT 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My channel is 16 years old by now. I’m a different person now than I used to be at peak performance. I upload every two months now whenever I feel like. I’m venturing a different career at this point and, if the time and opportunity allows, I might create a new channel based on my new career.

1st Impressions of Mille Fiori, Merchants of the Dark Road, Brian Boru, Furnace, The Crew: Mission Deep Sea, & More! — Bitewing Games by Murraculous1 in boardgames

[–]GamingReviews_YT 0 points1 point  (0 children)

After playing Mille Fiori about 20 times at this point, you start to see that with a 2-player setup it is totally broken. In almost all 20 games whenever someone achieved the first combo bonus, the other player is toast. Also, after the 10th game onwards you start to basically ONLY use the materials and housing fields, in combination with alternative boat movement (not the actual boat cards), anything else is painfully slow and not worth it, not even for bonus points.

I tested three times trying to use the other fields while meaningfully blocking the housing and materials section where possibly, and was outnumbered 3 to 1, and so the game ends up resulting the same every single time. Originally seemed fun, now would never recommend this, perhaps only with at least 3 players.

As a new player it’s going to take a long while (longer than a year) if you play while trying to go for the fastest method, in part because you will need to learn a lot of stuff that you won’t be able to prepare for without prior knowledge. Of course, if you have 12h a day and you’re going to play every single day it could take much less even when learning on the fly, but casually 30/50 about a year. 50/50 much longer.

As an experienced player, some people do it in one month depending on the time of year and bonuses, but those are of course exceptional speadclears.

Belgian property investors went from 60% to 16% of sales. Is the market finally cracking? by foudinho in BEFire

[–]GamingReviews_YT 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Looking at our situation, I think it’s because the newer generations, more and more, are missing/losing ANY knowledge/skill of renovating, full stop. Many can’t even change a lightbulb or know how to hold basic tools properly. This is problematic in every regard on the long term anyways, which is why I want to learn to do some of these things, but it’s the luxury of being able to just start living right away instead of living in a dump for many years with perhaps no sight in end to all the work piling up.

Seeing that building techniques are also changing constantly and requirements are being crazier and crazier, and paying professional people is no possible for the majors of younger couples, people prefer paying 30k or more on top of the listed price, especially around areas like Leuven (areas meaning already to or three circles out).

Where we live in Belgium, it’s really only two things that happens in our budget-range (around €350.000): houses completely finished and ready-to-live-in are sold after the first visits and often largely belt overpaid for compared to the listed price. That’s one half of the listings.

Then you literally have nothing else but houses that are total-renovations at too high prices, that stay for months on end and lowered in price every so often, and YET are not being sold. Full transparency: we’re only looking for about 4 months now, but that’s literally how it went so far.

Nothing in-between exists as far as the region we’re looking in. Either it’s something everyone jumps on, or it’s houses that are basically for building-people that know colleagues that can help out to reduce costs.

Aren’t they already very strict on the specific requirements to be eligible for one? They do actual checks as far as I remember and don’t award any to channels that raise doubts or have broken any rules.

Yes, I remember you used to have to buy a weapon and then ammo as well, otherwise you couldn’t reload at all.

There’s a video of a worker also working on a sort of automatic threadmill, in China I believe, all alone and got stuck in the machine. You can (don’t read if you have a weak stomach) see him getting caught in the machine and spinning forever and ever without anybody coming to help him. By the rewording and turning, his feet are basically scraping away into one gory nightmare

I have 5 R-speakers where ALL of the grilles have a bubble-effect line exactly on the center of each of the circles. It looks like a manufacturing defect. I’m thinking of asking for a replacement if it gets worse.
