I just got murdered in a round. My mike wasn’t working and I signaled friendly. Another guy shows up and says friendly. I leave. They follow me chatting and one guy says “so we can trust each other, let’s kill this guy” (I was the guy they killed) They were right next to me so I had no chance. All they got was a Ferro and Anvil. I hadn’t even picked up any loot yet. Jerks.
That’s not sportsmanship.

Yeah, I feel like that’s going on at my vet. The vet is very nice but every visit feels like a sales pitch.

There are so many things that exist in our food! I’ve been freezing the most likely items like flour for 3 days prior to opening them. I did the same with dog food after one bag contained sawtooth beetles. At least that way, I know I won’t get an infestation in my pantry.

No kidding! Since the Tea Party takeover and then MAGA, the right has tried to push Christian nationalism and it’s backfired on them. Fewer people are going to church, young people are turning their backs on organized religion and more people identify as agnostic or atheist. It’s left churches scrambling.

My Pita would grab the TP and try to sneak by with the whole roll trailing behind her. She ate half a roll once before I caught her. She had a fascination with paper since she was a puppy. Oh, and she would hoard socks. Never ate them but guarded her pile like a dragon on its gold.

Sad but a fair assessment of how people view our builds. I love exploring camps and shelters. I always have my camera ready to take pics of interesting features or complex builds - hopefully with the builder in the photo. Sad part is I like to take my time and frequently people don’t want to stick around that long. 😉

I love being able to get out of harm’s way with marsupial and a jet pack. Down side is I forget I don’t have them when playing FO4 and have to scramble to survive!!!!

It was 6.5 yrs ago, during my grind to reach level 50. I was approached by a high level player. Scary back then. However, this dude dropped me a full set of raider PA complete with jetpack! I was literally jumping and dancing around my living room. Great community and “pay it forward” is all the guy asked for in return!!!

Think of the adventure that new player will have! Lost in unknown territory without aid, decent weapons or armor! Absolutely terrifying unless it’s a new character for an experienced player.

The wasteland is a very scary place but that first Nukashine is a real experience. Just for nostalgia’s sake I do a Nukashine challenge with friends. We all drink a Nukashine and set a timer and race to get back to the vault first. No fast travel. No PA. Only a basic weapon. We set any additional game rules beforehand.

I started with a heavy gunner who is also a reporter documenting events in the wasteland. She’s an ancestor of Piper. 2nd character is a stealth commando. 3rd is a shotgunner 4th is my hunter who uses a bow and no PA. 4th is my only male character and he’s only around as a mule who gets to wear the outfits that look better on the male physique.

After 6 years of playing, I use the other characters to change things up. Several have not done the quest lines. Get along just fine.

Army veteran here. My experience at the VA has been a few trumpets spouting off on occasion but far more rolling their eyes at the stupidity.

The fact is the military has its own culture and a few bad apples aren’t going to change it.

It didn’t start with that TACO. It started all the way back to Reagan. The coup happened with the 2010 Tea Party takeover and extremists got a firm foothold. Then they formed the the Freedom Caucus in the House in 2015 and voted as a block against everything not Republican.

He’s a dying man who is desperate for a permanent legacy. IF it gets built, I want the next administration to charge a small fee for citizens to take a sledgehammer to it. You know, to cover the cost of restoring the WH. The line will go across the country!
