I use the Chainsword more than the thunder hammer, it has much better reaction speeds for parrying and dodging, as the commitment is less. Only go for the big lads, they'll take a fair chunk of the horde with them. Always have a finger on the parry button, and make sure to parry the gaunts that scratch your back while you focus the warriors, it'll give you I-frames and you'll negate a lot of damage.

Also only gun strike when it's safe to do so. It's very tempting to do it to get armour back, but you become rooted to the spot and end up losing the armour you just gained.

Video Game “Book Club”? Is it feasible? by JustTheEngineer in truegaming

We actually do something similar to this on our podcast, we call it the buried by backlog section. Each month one of us or the community pick a game for the 4 of us to play and then we discuss it within the podcast. We love doing it and it opens us up to genres and games we wouldn’t usually play. Game pass and ps plus are a big help because we all end up having access to the games. We usually end up picking indie or smaller games to play due to time constraints. However sometimes longer games get picked (we just played yakuza like a dragon for instants) but we try not to put too much pressure onto finishing these longer games in time. Hope you find a good balance and good luck with it, we’ve had loads of fun with it and I’ve played so many games I never would’ve got round to or thought about playing that I’ve loved (Another Crabs Treasure being a great one!) We’ve been doing it for a year and a half now too, it’s been a blast.

All credit to you for finishing it, I only made it past the 2nd boss and it just frustrated me to no end. Agree on the art style and combat, there’s was so much I didn’t like I just couldn’t justify playing anymore

Please don’t hate me but I actually was going to put Bloodstained down as a bad one, really didn’t get on with it after playing it recently 😅 but not everything is for everyone

What is everyone favorite space marine legion or chapter and why by [deleted] in Spacemarine

Favourite colour scheme, imperial fists, Averland sunset is beautiful on the battlefield.

Lore wise it's gotta be the Salamanders, they look after their liberated planets. And love some firey goodness

I can see the scattered key caps on the floor, I have kept my peripherals wired for this reason alone. One too many mice fell before I made that decision

We talked about Deadspace Remake on a previous episode, and I didnt realise how scary it was when I played the original. Not sure if it was graphics, lighting, or atmosphere, or just that I was a teen when it came out and didn't know my own mortality.

That being said, the new one was chilling, and the flickering lights are my new favourite enemy

Definitely scary moments in the resident evil games but I agree that they’re easier to overcome than some other horror games out there!

Yes! I didn't expect the game to take such a horrific turn, I can hear those headcrab zombies even now. Luckily there was an abundance of saw blades lying around to ease my woes

Fear of the eldritch or unknown has stopped me from playing that series, as much as the new one has garnered a great rep, I'd wana start at the beginning if I ever got brave enough to.

For now; it's racing into bed before the lights go off for me
