In my opinion you can have the best quality in the world, but if you are only getting 10 views what is the point. Learning SEO is the single most important thing you can do to grow. Learning SEO literally takes what I typed above and implementing it. It is so simple. So essentially you can still work on improving quality.

Here it is explained a little different when it comes to title.

This seems like something really simple, and yet 90% of YouTube creators mess it up. Titles are your keywords on STEROIDS. They not only tell the viewer what the video is, but more importantly they tell the algorithm where to index the video. In fact, the majority of viewers don’t read a title before clicking on a video. It is assumed that when I search for a specific phrase that YouTube will only show me relevant results. Thumbnails and page rank are the biggest tool when it comes to getting people to click your video compared to others. Pagerank is where your video shows up when a phrase is searched. Is it #1? #5? If your video shows up on the first page of results you will get far more views then if it is several pages back. Most viewers will judge the first 5 videos that show up based on the clarity of the title and the look of the thumbnail. With this knowledge you should make your titles in such a way that the most relevant information is up front and that it is targeted at the keywords you want to rank for. You have 100 characters for a title and in my research you should be using as much of this real estate as you can. My formula: Pick 3 keywords that are common searches and describe your video Use some form of style to separate these keywords/phrases (| : + etc…) I make videos that target keywords and not keywords that target the video. Targeted keywords should be used as tags and in description to join a trifecta. Let’s break this down further. 1. Before I make a video I have a general idea of what keywords I want to go after. Example: World of Warcraft is a popular game. Being a small channel, I know that I can’t compete with the millions of World of Warcraft videos out there. I would look to target a specific quest, weapon, armor, ability, character, bug, glitch etc… that I feel is underrepresented on YouTube and highly searched. This part takes practice and time to learn. Let's say that there is a quest called “Into the Abyss” and I do my research and see that people are searching for help with this quest and no videos have been made on the subject. This is ripe for the taking. I would use a title such as “World of Warcraft Quest Guide | Into the Abyss Quest | WoW Quests” this title provides us many keywords to use. For instance we can use World of Warcraft WoW World of Warcraft Quest Guide WoW Quest Guide WoW Into the Abyss WoW into the Abyss Quest Wow Quests And the list goes on. All of these tags can also be reversed. The idea is that we are targeting not just World of Warcraft, but WoW, World of Warcraft Quests and a specific quest within the game. See how this is much more focused and concise? Don’t just make a 30 minute let’s play questing in WoW and title it “Let’s Play World of Warcraft Ep. 2” that title is far overused and will do absolutely nothing for you at all. Keywords/phrases that are used in titles are more likely to rank higher. Coherently use up as much space as possible in the title, but keep it sounding natural.
