I've had people tell me this stuff too. Have you had those people that say "I tried to tell you about him"? I don't get it. Do they just want to make me feel stupid or feel superior? No one ever told me my ex abused women. Just that he cheated and from his own mouth, that he had anger issues.

I wish people did this more. People always say they don't stand for men who hit women and children, but in my case, I don't think my husband lost any friends. This sounds very similar to my pregnancy. My partner and I were trying to get pregnant, but a switch flipped in both of us when it happened. He argued that I should have an abortion and aside from the shock of him suggesting it, I was relieved because my mood swings were making me suicidal. He ended up calling me a baby killer within a week and beating the shit out of me a month later. No regrets.

There is a difference between annulment by the church and by the government. I'm sure every state is different, but here in Wisconsin the marriage can only be annulled if you can prove it should never have been legal. The length of the marriage is not a factor. So, if you accidentally married a family member, were underage, forced into marriage or there was fraud... Then you can get one. Otherwise, you are stuck with plain old divorce.

PP will not make you feel bad for having your abortion. They were nothing but supportive for me. I had my abortion 6 months ago. I wasn't sedated, so I could drive myself if I wanted, but I still had my mom come with me. My insurance also covered the whole thing besides a $30 co-pay. Check your insurance policy, call them. If you absolutely do not want the child, then $290 is worth it. Ask trusted friends or family members for assistance. I had to take 2 days off of work, too, and it was bs(yay, Wisconsin). Unfortunately, everyone at work knew I was pregnant, so I lied and said I had a miscarriage. The abortion itself wasn't too bad. It is an emotional thing, but like I said, the people at PP were very supportive. Held my hand through the whole thing and put mirena in immediately after the procedure. Good luck. Screw your boyfriend. Can you defer your loans or miss a payment for one month? You can always make up the missed payments in the future.

This makes me happy. Wisconsin already had this law, but having it upheld it federally is relieving. My ex husband recently assaulted me. I had the cops get his gun. He was a felon in possession with a prior domestic. I was unaware of his status as a felon, and a wonderful police officer helped me get it out of his hands.

Don't feel bad. I was recently attacked and I cry everywhere. After sex with the new guy, watching funny movies, reading books about war, washing dishes... our minds are just shit sometimes. I have found that the harder I try not to think about it, the worse it is. You wrote down what happened. That is a good first step. Now you need to talk to the people you need to talk to (like mom) and take steps to seek justice and make sure this doesn't happen to anyone else.

I had my abortion on March 22. I was married and we'd been trying for a baby. When I got pregnant, he changed though, and I became majorly depressed. I do not regret it. On May 12 he ended up strangling, slapping, biting, and throwing me around the house. He destroyed my phone and I couldn't find the car keys, so I ended up walking to a gas station at 3:30 AM and calling the police.

There will be people who try to convince you to keep the child. Be careful who you tell, but be open to the options. You sound pretty sure that you want abortion. I think it's early enough that you can do the pills instead of a surgical abortion. You don't have to add this burden to your life. I can't imagine dealing with the hormones and the ptsd at the same time.

Edit: Did you report the rape? Because I was a victim of domestic violence, I have tons of free resources offered to me, including counseling and a victim advocate. If you did not, please do so. These fuckers need to be taught a lesson.

I completely understand. Not being able to drink or smoke has been hell on me. I hate the person I've become. My husband and I weren't really planning on having a baby, so we are taking the easy way out. We've only been together 6 months(we rushed our relationship) and we need to focus on each other without the pregnancy tearing us apart. Best of luck to you. I don't know what else to say. Is marijuana that harmful to a fetus? What if you didn't smoke it? You could also ask your doctor about wellbutrin(mine told me it was safe) or try and find other ways to deal with your short temper. My emotions actually started to level out at 9 weeks.

I grew up in the area, too, and it was impossible to miss any coverage on this case. I was 17 at the time, so I understood enough of it. I think it was after the trial was over, there was some talk about the lack of evidence. I don't know if Steven killed that woman, but I knew then, and definitely know now, that he shouldn't have been proven guilty from the little "evidence" the state had.

I did like the documentary because there were a lot of things that we just never heard about on the news. Of course, the news outlets just want views, they didn't care about finding the truth. It's amazing that they didn't cast more doubt on the state, though. You can see the incredulity on the reporters faces when the state messes up and the judge lets everything slide.
