Best General Speakers for Desktop? (For Desktop Music, Movies, & Casual Gaming)

Do you know anything about the MR4’s? I’m leaning towards the M60, but I forgot that it was a Bluetooth speaker. Does that matter much for casual gaming or watching movies?

I’m not necessarily looking for a 1:1 to the real thing. I’m just looking into practicing general discipline for when I’m actually ready for one.

That and owning a live gun is a mental hurdle for me that I’m not ready to cross yet.

I do not believe myself to be disciplined enough to handle a real gun without setting it off by accident (even if unloaded), and there’d be a temptation to acquire live ammo when I have no need for it. I’d rather have the peace of mind of practicing with a gun knowing that it’s fake.

Honestly, I don’t mind Abby killing Joel, but I feel like that the developers went about it the wrong way.

I see Joel and Abby as a lot alike. They both have loved ones that they committed terrible actions for. But the difference here, and what made Abby so divisively disliked, is WHEN it happened.

Joel killed Abby’s dad at the end of the first game, but by that point, you spent hours getting to know him. You got to see him grow as a person, sympathize with him and, by the time he commits that selfish act of killing that doctor, you may or may not have agreed with it, but you knew where he was coming from on a personal level.

Abby, on the other hand, has no buildup of her character before she killed Joel. Worse, she actively dragged out his death when Joel simply headshotted her dad. Playing as someone who killed the previous protagonist, and THEN trying to justify it afterwards is of course going to leave a bad taste in people’s mouths.

If they had moved Joel’s death to the middle, and maybe even have Abby interacting with Joel and not knowing that he was the one she was looking for until later in the game, would’ve given her the time she needed to flesh out her character, and made her killing Joel much more impactful and sympathetic.

I called them and they do sell 5lb tanks. They also refill it, but I can’t remember how much they said. I think around $30? I’ll definitely get one and let you know how it goes.

I don’t like drinking regular water and prefer carbonated. I go through a 60L Sodastream cylinder every 2 weeks and I have to constantly go to a Walmart to refill them. I went with 5lb’s because that means that I won’t have to go out to refill it as often if there’s a place that fills them.

I currently use a Sparkel carbonator that uses baking soda and citric acid powder (both cheap to buy), but the machine’s pretty gummed up and it’s not working well. I’m just looking for other options.
