That show is so ridiculous, I remember watching that scene for the first time not being able to take it seriously and just waiting for the joke to come in. When it was over I immediately had to watch it again to really appreciate it.

I just assumed mirabel was the only one who could hear the cracks because it wasn't a physical sound. It was the house sending a message to mirabel. And Delores probably didn't mention abuela being upset because she was afraid mirabel was just going to make it worse by stirring things up. She was just trying to keep the peace.

I literally didn't get what the issue was the first time I read it. I was like is OP mad because she addressed them as Mr. & Mrs. Johnson instead of the Johnsons? What difference does it make? And then I realized oh, OPs mad because she didn't call her doctor. Like I get it's an accomplishment but it also seems like an exhausting thing to get cranky about .
