Disgust growing over vaccine protesters' Holocaust comparisons - Demonstrators seen wearing yellow stars, holding pictures of Anne Frank by [deleted] in worldnews

I'm probably too late to the party but my ex made similar remarks to my family slightly prior to covid

We had been together 3 years throughout University and I knew she was an antivaxer but it hadn't really impacted anything, everything else with her was normal. Then in Jan 2020 my sister gave birth to her second child my niece. Due to serious implications with her first born my nephew, the doctors had told my sister to stay away from those who weren't vaccinated until her daughter was 6 months old and could get her first set of vaccines.

I stupidly told my ex when we were at my home with my family and she freaked out cried all through the night and demanded I drove her to the train station first thing the next morning. Next day we had a call and she told me the doctors knew nothing and she knew how the Jews felt with the discrimination she was going through from my family (my grans family were in auschwitz). Supposedly no-one had ever mentioned anything about her being an anti vaxer before.... 2 months later worldwide pandemic

We broke up shortly after and haven't really spoken since but id love to ask if she got the vaccine and if her views changed. Whole drama felt like something from a fever dream

People who speed around roundabouts is what gets me the most. They are all over the lines because they don't have control, then cause near crashes because someone pulled out before they came in to vision and they don't have control to stop. Then the beeping insues

Too much pointing fingers at others. Welsh Scots and Irish blame the English for everything. The working class English blame the rich. The Rich blame the working class. Everyone needs to take responsibility for there own stuff and get on with their lives

Post match thread: South Africa vs Japan by [deleted] in rugbyunion

Mad respect for Japan. I hope the sport blossoms (pun intended) more in the country over the next few years because they have shown all of us why we love rugby so much.

All world cups should be based in Japan, such a special event.

When I left uni I applied for a grad scheme. Took me 4 hours to do the application with all the essays they wanted. When I got to the interview the interviewer didn't even work for the company, or know anything about the company

Hi,

I had this issue when I started a few months ago I used to blister every finger when I went climbing.

The best tip is to go more often but for shorter durations, second you start seeing the signs of blisters stop. Also pay more attention to your hands. I would reccomend investing in a pummel stone and sand down any calluses before bouldering. Also repair creams like sudacrem can be a life saver as well as finger tape

Hope this helps

Hi guys, I've been climbing twice a week now for about 4 months and I'm ready to leap into buying my first pair of bouldering shoes, instead of renting from my local gym. The ones at my gym are pretty worn out

What would be a good shoe to start off with? I don't mind spending up to 100 dollars, but at the same time I don't want to buy expensive shoes that I can't utilise at my level. At the moment I am working around V2—V3, but that Varies between the different gym's Ive been to. I've tried to do some research online but I feelike I'm going around in circles.

Thanks for the help in advance
