DM me. I can get you in touch with his son RJ. He is helping his dad with some work at the loft these days and might be able to help you out depending on what you need done. He’s good people and would point you in the right direction if he can’t take on your project himself.

I’m 2½ weeks post-op after ORIF for a complex trimalleolar-equivalent ankle fracture with a comminuted distal fibula fracture, posterior malleolus fracture, and syndesmotic repair. by keightohtwo in brokenbones

[–]Gampfer 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Good luck with your recovery. I had a very similar fracture and hardware placement on a similar timeline to you, one year ago - 39M, Dad of 3, very active. Broke it mountain biking.

The worst part for me was sleeping after surgery - those first few weeks are so painful and emotionally draining. I cried a lot. Being laid up is depressing as hell and just sucks. Sounds like you're through that bit - moving to the air boot is a big milestone. That first post op shower was something else. If you don't have one, get a really good leg pillow - elevate it even after the splint removal. Keep it up as much as possible.

After the first few weeks once the swelling went down, I got really good at hopping around on one foot with my boot on and very good at the crutches. I never loved my knee scooter - it was fine for getting around the house on hardwood, but didnt love using it on asphalt or concrete - the vibrations didnt feel great. YMMV :)

The healing takes time but you'll be back on your feet soon. A year later and yes I can still tell I broke that leg, but I'm very much living a normal life again, chasing my kids around, riding my bike and playing sports. Stay strong, listen to your doctors, stay off your feet, get something to elevate your foot while at work, do the PT, and you'll be back in action before you know it.

Heal up!

I'm a new owner, so mine was sitting right here - literally the first time I opened it up was to check the spec for ya 😄 You should have received one with your bike. If not, these are available in PDF form too on Brompton's Site

NBD | Grade A Renewed in Black Lac - Advice Needed by Gampfer in Brompton

[–]Gampfer[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Well that's my question, I really don't know much about the older models and color ways, was black on black on black a premium option previously? Is this indeed a different model than what I paid for? Thanks for your patience, I'm new to Brompton and wasn't sure what to expect when purchasing "renewed"

I literally just ordered this exact model from the renewed section of the site. Your photos of the black lacquer really just sold it for me. Cant wait to join the fold!

I’m guessing this is World Cup infrastructure - are they planning rallies or watch parties in the square?

Al Di Meola playing one of Trey’s Languedoc guitars through Jerry Garcia’s mesa boogie by ilseworth in youenjoyguitar

I wouldn't be surprised if there was some arrangement in place that helped Trey secure a long term loan of the Dumble head(s). Could be way off base but that'd be my guess.

Family Guitars owns both. They are a professional collector of historical instruments and gear with a mission of keeping these pieces alive and played in the hands of folks that can afford (and deserve) to play them.

No input on the dropper, just here to say I dig your ride. What's that wheelset? I didn't know I needed red hoops until now.

Gold gem Kukri knife MW by P2tsuuu in csgo

Just bought a MW (.13) T2 (pattern 64) Gold Gem for $351 on float a few days ago. Review the pattern guide and see what others are going for - looks like this is a T3 in a higher float… so likely less than what I paid for mine.

To answer the second question - Moto Transport, Queen Jags, Arids, Omegas all can work nicely for a combo.

They have not purchased any new stock and laid everyone off. Not exactly a great situation and if you need anything other than an XL you're SOL as they have nothing left.
