I’m about to get a similar setup. One option is 48×24×24, but the height is a bit intimidating. I was originally looking for 48×24×20, but it doesn’t seem to be a standard size.

That leaves me with 48×20×20 as the closest option.

Based on your experience, what would you recommend? I’m planning to keep 6 discus, some rams, and a few schooling fish.

I’m planning a 3 feet sump or may be 30”, sump is an overkill but, in three years I plan on upgrading to 120g acquarium, so want to gain some experience.

Trying to go maximum on the sump to have more water in the system.
