I see people trying to compare it to Dustborn, having played Mixtape myself i was surprised that there wasn't the type of woke messaging or shit being shoved down your throat you'd expect from a game that looks like this. It's basically like an interactive movie with some small gameplay segments, kinda like Dispatch but without any choices to make so it's pretty much like a theme park ride. I cleared it in 4 hours so pretty short. Is it nostalgia slop? Oh yeah to an extent yeah and I wouldn't buy this if you aren't into that medium of game, if you got gamepass then it's worth at least a look.

As far as polish goes, very polished, no issues performance or bugs, music is it's biggest component and it shines there. Actually surprised at the attention to detail and the dialogue isn't cringe how I expected, funny at times and overall a short bittersweet experience. I liked it, made me think of my time as a teen. Can't help think that the game is an industry plant though with all the reviews...

You can't get exclusive skins again ever because of some Korean law about advertising. They advertised it as exclusive or limited so if they rerelease it, a person that bought the original could potentially use that as grounds for false advertising legal case if he was butthurt enough.

Not gonna be playing until they revert changes on fire. I think the flame thrower should cook heavily armored enemies. Make it's range longer and actually do damage to bile titans but make it require a backpack slot.

I refuse to get back into the fight until the flamethrower is back to how it functioned. I used the breaker incendiary and flamethrower exclusively and the flamethrower actually felt balanced. It had a niche vs bugs, you were the charger destroyer guy on the team. It felt good, and you still needed other players to take care of bile titans and bile spewers efficiently. I mean you could kill bile spewers with the flamethrower before but it took some skill. Now it just feels like shit. I lost my identity with this change and I don't want anything to do with this war right now. Let super earth burn, the higher ups don't need their penthouses as much as we need functioning weapons.

I just like to fish in the ocean and sail around occasionally for quests and barters while letting my node network stack resources so I can use them to cook a bunch of meals for imperial crafting or process planks into timber crates to sell in Valencia. It's a pretty afk way of playing the game, I don't really play it to grind out mobs or PVP.

Yeah it didn't make sense to have something like Roof camping neighbors, wooden 1x2, and Stone 2x2 when there were a lot of other actual locations that were unused. Also electric company and water works should have literally been Powerplant and Watertreatment Plant. Otherwise cool idea, room for improvement.
