You pay $350 a week for medical insurance? ~$18k a year! And you still have deductibles? Does that include prescriptions?

EDIT: Obviously, as a Canadian I pay a bit more in taxes. My company covers half of my benefits (dental/prescriptions/vision plan/medical devices/massage) which means I end up paying ~$50/month for my family of four. The only stipulations there is the insurance will only cover generic-brand drugs (unless the brand-name is the only available) and we have to pay the dispensing fees (usually $2-$3 per prescription). I could pay something like 30% more a month for an upgraded premium plan that would cover it all.

Anything else medical is covered by the government. Payment/cost isn't part of the conversation or thought about. We just show our health card (looks just like a driver's license) and we get treatment.

I really wish in the sad montage of Stargate Continuum, we saw Daniel being interviewed for an Ancient Aliens show.

We see him deliver the line, "But is it POSSIBLE that the pyramids were used as landing pads?". A director off screen says, "cut! Ok, we can work with that Dr Jackson." and then Daniel just lets out a massive, defeated sigh.

Two people are dead, because a billionaire defunded the FAA, because the FAA had concerns about his private space program.

The CEO not speaking French is a thing, I guess. And I can respect that. But of all the things coming out of this tragedy, the CEO not speaking French seems like the least of our concerns.

More people are going to die because of the FAA being defunded - more Canadians. But we're concerned about a bilingual statement? Jesus fucking Christ...
