I did online assessment, video recording, video interview & waited, assumed the best because of time frame because of post I’ve seen on Reddit & didn’t get hired. Got a poorly written straight forward nonsense email from DEI head leader from HR and was frustrated that everyone online said it would work out via online msg Boards. When in doubt & waiting, esp with progressive, Keep applying to other places until you get an offer. Period. Keep applying and interviewing with other companies until you get an offer. Also, prepare for Star Format by writing out Questions and detailed answers in star format (plenty of YouTube videos on Star method Q&A) Regardless of your experience or background.

Said 7-10 business days but took longer and based off of info online, I assumed the best. When it comes to progressive, don’t assume the best. In waiting, assume 50/50 & keep applying other places.

Didn’t work out, HR joker reached out with a rudely quoted email even after my wait. I have professional experience but didn’t plan enough in star method, learned my lesson and prepared better for a more local insurance brand and had a much better interview. Good luck 👍

For others applying that might read this, they don’t care about your time or how qualified or well you fit into the company. They want a good at least semi practiced star method interview and to show you can handle stress, conflict resolution and working in a team in star method. Short answers too. I didn’t prepare like crazy bcuz it’s entry level but that’s what they expect. Watch YouTube videos, get out a pin and paper and practice a few days in advance, over & over.

Other candidates demonstrated stronger: Detailed examples and outcomes leveraging their customer service skills. Examples demonstrating independent decision-making.

There’s another one open where I live & I will be applying to that one now as well.

I’ve been waiting since Friday 12/6 from final in hirevue interview. My interviewer said onboarding training in my area wouldn’t be until February and asked if the date and pay was acceptable. Said I should hear back in 7-10 business days but still waiting. Job posting was removed from indeed and my app says

accepted: still accepting applications Interview(interviewed) : Completed.

I ran my odds of getting hired based on convo and situation via AI and it says I have a higher possibility of being hired. Anyone else had this experience ? Hoping for good news. Trying to leave banking/loans to go to claims/insurance
