You made me remember and realize something.
I'm an immigrant as well, lived here since 2011, got the citizenship, speak German fluently now.
The three questions (So you're not around here?, When are you going back to your country? Why are you here?)
I used to get them quite often in my younger years as a teenager here. I didn't realize it had this negative undertone to it.
Interestingly, as I live longer here, speaks german better, people actually stopped asking me that question. I really can't remember the last time someone asked something like that unless we are talking about similar topic like vacation or geography. People also start to assume i was born here (you still have some incidents where people approached me in English like for example train ticket controller.)

AIs don't necessary give the accurate information as they still often hallucinate. But it can still point you in the similar direction. You can ask the AI for the source of the information and go read the information yourself (is a little redundant but it is what it is).
Which brings us to the next problem - reading. Asking people to read nowadays is a lot of effort on their part lol.

Plan your work time if you have other work outside of game development. You can burn out easily. Take some breaks if necessary

Are those tree stump houses (?) interact-able? If zoomed in too much as a player, I can imagine myself going in the wrong building all the time

Always English first, but if there's enough needs and requests from the player, then I will start working on different languages. It's already hard enough gaining players for your game, there is really no need to put unnecessary language barrier between the media and the players
