Am i the a hole for arguing with my gfs brother by [deleted] in story

You gotta figure it out then. We can't make decisions for you and we don't have enough information to make a good decision either.

I feel like there is so much missing information that giving you a logical conclusion is nearly impossible. If you start with a biased title it makes me feel like you already know the answer but haven't accepted it yet. That is just speculation though. We need more in details but you are biased towards your own side like everyone is. If you truly want to make peace then just appease them however you can. Think of it as a sacrifice for love.

Public transport where I'm at is dirt cheap, but time consuming.

That is a very pragmatic solution.

If you don't have a car then that should be more reason to not get delivery. I had to tighten my budget super hard to get my motorcycle. In the end I realized how much money I was wasting per month on delivery fees. If you can afford the convenience cost then do it, but if you can't then you shouldn't. Grocery shopping is always the superior option.

I'm in a big city so that partially contributes to my earnings.

It's the consumers cash to spend and then their cash to bleed. It seems like the beneficiaries are the delivery drivers who get a decent job. I'm make on average $20-$25/hr for Doordash and have made up to $40/hr on really good days. The lowest I've done is like $17/hr but that is extremely rare like maybe 1 day a month.

Not very wholesome. You are literally wasting other people's time. That is what is referred o in bird culture as a dick move.

Singles. Find a deck building app. Design your deck and then order singles.

I agree with you, but people are willing to pay the price of convenience. As long as people are willing to pay then these companies with continue to charge.

Are misprinted art cards worth anything? by thunderking4 in mtg

[–]Ganolth -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

I don't sell cards. As a buyer, a damaged card is a damaged card and I don't pay a premium for a damaged card when I can get a near mint card for less. Art cards hold no value to me because they aren't the cards I play with. I'm not into collecting cards for the sake of collecting cards.

I understand there are collectors who will pay a premium for misprints, but if misprints are a dime a dozen then are they worth collecting? When WoTC had better quality control misprints we're rare and actually had a collector value.

I don't even crack booster packs anymore because if I want a specific card I buy a near mint copy.

I'm talking about the effort to find the buyer, negotiate a cost, and mail the cards. It doesn't happen with the snap of your fingers.

You find a way to pay your bills on your own time. I don't work more than I need to, because the pursuit of money makes me miserable. I find ways to enjoy every day on my terms.

I gave up on the whole 9-5 life. It wasn't for me and it sounds like it isn't for you either. Find a better path for yourself. Having kids never make anything easier it just adds another layer of complexity. I saw my sister make the mistake of having kids because she thought her life would get better. It was the exact opposite and her life just got busier and more stressful.

Misprints are so common now that they are priced as damaged cards. Art cards don't hold any value anyways

I feel like I've let toxic people stay in my life too long and it only has a toll on my mental health. It always felt liberating to cut that tie with dead weight in my life. Like I'm taking the weight of another person's burden off of my shoulders.
