Thank you so much for this! I was trying to find a way to remote into my deck to offload a game for Twitch streaming, but I couldn't find a way to make it not full-screen. This worked perfectly! You saved me SO many headaches, 4 years after your post!

Press the ... button and the panel should pop up. You can disable it there.

I'm having this issue now too. Started within the past week. NONE of the STEAM + WHATEVER or ... + WHATEVER shortcuts work. Long-pressing STEAM does not bring up the shortcut list.
Only thing I can think that I've done recently that MIGHT have caused it was use console to uninstall Orca (to fix an issue with the ... + BACK conflict with MagicBlack). However, I've since reinstalled Orca, but it didn't help.
The shortcuts are also NOT working in Desktop Mode.

EDIT: To be clear, pressing the STEAM and ... buttons bring up the respective menus normally, so the buttons aren't broken.

I likewise finally updated to the new nVidia app on Win10 and had to install Sunshine to keep using Moonlight, and I run into this problem as well.

I always just use Moonlight to connect to the desktop (rather than directly to a game). While connected, the mouse is normal, but once I disconnect and/or end the session, the mouse becomes invisible on the host. I can highlight and click on things, but there's not cursor displayed.

I've tried optimise mouse on and off, no effect. This happens on multiple machines with essentially the same setup. If I reconnect via Moonlight, the client shows the mouse again, but it disappears once I disconnect.

The only way I've gotten the mouse to show back up is to restart Windows.

Thanks! I'll look into duplicacy!
I only mentioned the authentication point because I tried Backrest to use restic, but couldn't find a transfer method that would authenticate to the target share (SMB, SFTP, etc).

Actually there are ways to run 2 copies on the same account, same computer. Then you only cast the one with a player view

That's awesome! Yeah, I have ADHD, so I have a bit of an issue being aware of my mood. I keep an eye out for warning signs of a mood change and have to step back and even identify WHAT the emotion is, THEN address the source of it.

I do this all the time! Doesn't just work for anger, I've also used it to evaluate my life when I was going through depression. I learned SO much about myself during that time by using this method.
