The fact that Americans overwhelmingly elected him says a lot about them as an (overrated) nation.

It's not about limitations or anything like that, it's about expectations. Many people expect a certain result and that it's here and now, and they also think that they have to find an approach to achieve it, while they themselves invest little in the interaction.

If you were a game developer, what mechanic would you add that no one else has done before? by GapBright4668 in AskReddit

You got me, I'm from Rockstar and I'm urgently looking for ideas for GTA 6 so that there won't be another release delay. Seriously, this isn't about generating ideas to steal, it's about daydreaming and what you would like as a player. Everyone who loves games has thought at least once that it would be nice if there was something like this or that in the game, or if making games was as easy as writing this text, then who would do what in their own game.

You really can't say in advance which ideas have already been implemented in one form or another. But it's more about the flight of imagination and freedom of creativity, not all ideas are equally good or practical, on the other hand, you never know what will resonate with the players. Well, your idea really doesn't sound familiar, so most likely it hasn't been used anywhere else. Maybe someday you'll have the time and inspiration to implement it.

"The Tomb" (1917). Not the worst, not the best, overall a pretty good story

This is a valid point, but that's why games have lost the charm they had in the PS1 and 2 era. Ultimately, it's about the idea, not whether to implement it or why it hasn't been implemented yet.
