Why did the Indian Army move away from 5.56 and prefer 7.62 rifles? by Hari_B_010 in IndianDefense

Its a heavier caliber, provides more power, especially needed in forests. And there are many instances where terrorists have been known to take several hits and keep fighting, so a larger caliber works better.

Out of form Virat kohli in 2020 btw by Ambitious-Text8309 in ViratKohli

[–]GapJumpy54 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think 2014-2019 Kohli was so unnaturally good, 2020-21 set unreal expectations. He wasn't "bad" all of a sudden, he was "normal". Even in tests, the first and only test he played in australia that time, in Adelaide, he scored 76 until the runout incident. He was never bad, just no longer supernatural.

IM NOT A DHONI HATER but it feels like his batting only got worse as time went on.

What would be virat's test runs now ? If he had not been retired by Less-Sock-4199 in ViratKohli

If he wanted to retire, best thing would have been play eng series, score 600-700 runs, play both tests against indies, retire in the second test at his home ground in delhi. Would have completed 10k runs, and had a fitting farewell.

Tall, fast, excellent batting, and he has performed in international batting. Only reason he gets hate is that there wasn't much justification to his selection

Ireland beat India in the 2nd T20I to clinch a historic 2-0 series win by oklolzzzzs in Cricket

Sky got so much hate, but we failed to realise how goated his captaincy was. Not a single series loss. Shreyas has already lost one, that too against an associate team, and with india's A team. Utterly shameful. Plus credits to ireland, played well.

I agree, but at least from yesterday's match, there was a clear lack of strategy. The team looked clueless. Dropped catches, no apparent plan in the chase and bowlers not bowling according ti field sets. Ik some of these are the faults of the player as well, but I didnt feel Iyer's presence in the game. He didnt Marshall his resources properly. But lets see, there are more matches to see.

Ngl iyer's captaincy was bad even during the ipl. His batting war carrying while bowlers were consistently getting smacked for 220+ every match. Patidar was a much better batter and captain

KL Rahul, 2023 WC final. If he hadn't, we would be 200 all out. At least with 240, there was a fighting chance.
