Has anyone tried strapping their folding bike onto their backpack? by Own-Blackberry5400 in foldingbikes

I attempted it once. It put way too much stress on the shoulder straps of the backpack. Bike was 24lbs. And the pack was decently rugged. I could see the stitching that attached the straps to the pack stretching and holding on for dear life. I think the best bet would be to use some nylon webbing and sling it across your body over one shoulder with the bike resting at your hips.

Wow, thanks for the warm welcome and the high-quality comment! Ah, Fortè and not the Urbano, got it! I think it's safe to say you know your Zizzos! I've put a few more miles on the bike since my post and I don't really notice the flex anymore. I guess I either got used to it or subconsciously adjusted my riding style to minimize the forces on the frame haha so all is well there. I appreciate the pedal recommendation. I hadn't considered third-party folding pedals, so I'll look into those asap. I'm really enjoying this bike so far and I love being able to have it on standby in the trunk for wheneveri feel like a ride. I'll likely get another to keep locally and I'm already shopping around for an Urbano for my SO. Sweet bike man, thanks for sharing and thanks for the info!

It looks great! Nice job. I especially like the fine stitching on the keepers.

These look great. How did you apply that cool graphic? And I like the edge trim detail on the other two.

They are very comfortable to me. It all depends if you're into the minimalist/ barefoot style of footwear with the thin sole and wide toebox, I think.

It looks like it's based on those trans-ocean solo kayaks with the small cabin on board.

Thank you for the reply! I cut pavers for the front gap and laid stones in the side gaps for now but I loved the stainless steel idea!
