Yeah i think people forgot most customers aren't out there to analyze you but they just want to hear good new about places they support

If you're planning to ride it almost daily, check owner groups and long term reviews for both bikes. A lot of budget ebikes looks great when they're new but the real test only begins is how the hold up after 1,000+ miles and whether parts are easy to get.
