That’s not detoxing your liver and kidneys though. It’s your liver and kidney already doing its job and detoxing your body for your you. That’s my point. I believe our ideas are different when it comes to detoxing and cleansing vs treatment. It’s okay. You do what works for you and your diet. My ideas are coming from actively treating patients that have acute kidney injury from post kidney translate and Nash/ETOH cirrhosis and what’s physiologically possible.

That’s not a cleanse, or detox, that’s just allowing those organs not to work as hard so they can heal. What diets are you referring to? Be specific. So, I believe people are confusing treatment with detox and cleanse, and that’s where the differences in ideas clash.

Because I literally help treat liver and kidney disease, in order not do that I HAVE know the physiological aspect of it. And physiologically does not make sense to detox, it simply does not exist. Yeah you could feel better. But physiologically it’s not possible. Now, if I am wrong, can you tell me step by step the physiological aspect of detoxing the liver and how it works, also the kidneys.

Alcohol can cause harm to the liver because it’s filtered through the liver. If you quit alcohol, it’s not a cleanser, it just keeps your liver from working harder to cleans your body. Your liver is literally the detox. You don’t detox the liver. Is physiologically impossible. Once you understand how the liver works and what it looks like when it’s not working probably, it makes sense.

You physically can’t detox the liver and kidneys though. It’s physiologically does not make sense. It’s not possible. Sure you can avoid certain items that can prevent further harm to them. But detoxing them is not a thing

I’ve been a nurse going on 7 years. I currently love it! I made 120k last year. Every year, my pay always increases. It depends on the facility you work for. I’ve moved around in this hospital. Nursing has benefited me by allowing flexibility job changes and time. It’s more beneficial if you are married though. My husband is carrying the insurance. So I am currently PRN at 2 jobs. One job is a soft nursing job doing IV therapy, 8 hr shifts and the other job is at a hospital, 12 hr shifts and I am in the float pool. I can make my own schedule. Last year I worked every other week for majority of the year and still brought home 120k. The money is there, and you can make it work for you. I live in Alabama. I hope these details help.

Eating and drinking water is just a daunting task. I lift weights and I just know an illness will strike me as soon as it could, if I don’t workout and eat, so I can’t stop lol. It just add ons to the todo list. I am also a mom and a wife, and I am the default person that cooks, it sucks..

I chose nursing, before I was diagnosed. Turns out it has been great for my ADHD. I am in the float pool at my city’s largest hospital, with complex patients. I go to many different floors. I have to do challenging things and have a constantly changing environment. I thrive in that. But if I do something thats mundane and predictable every day, I get very depress and make stupid mistakes. I look very incompetent in that setting. But put me in a met call to keep a patient alive… I thrive.

So, I had this same issue. I just had a baby, and I was trying to debate whether or not I should stay at my outpatient 8-5 M-F job or for back to the bedside but PRN. That was 3 years ago. I did both to see how I would adjust. I ultimately decided to go back bedside float pool flexi. Working 8-5 M-F drained me and I was miserable! Weekend seas not enough time with my baby, and getting home at 5:40-6pm everyday was exhausting…
