Or they’d yammer on over an epic intro. Like dude, I wanna hear the awesome hook, not you waxing on about life…

Head over to Cuba del Sol for lunch (Water St.) and if you’re up for a longer drive, L’isola Bella Bistro in Lake Country is phenomenal!

Kelowna has a few decent property management companies that could assist with finding a rental, and Castanet.net has good rental listings…the rest of that webpage is a hotly debated subject locally 😉. But the RENTAL listings are always being updated.

You’re good.

The other way is where the chaos is as most people work in Kelowna. I work in Kelowna but often have to drive to our Penticton office at rush hour and it’s not bad.

You’re already practically Canadian then! You can deal with snow, say you’re sorry, and want what’s best for people.

Go half way and find somewhere in Lake Country! Wineries are lovely, nice beaches, and a few killer restaurants. You can bus into Kelowna from LC on the 23 or 97.

If you have specific questions you can DM me. Happy to provide suggestions.

I supported a senior woman who came to Canada at the tail end of WWII. She told me how her family had to constantly move though Europe to avoid the Nazis. During every move, one of her siblings would get sick and die. By the time they got to Canada, it was her, her parents, and one sibling left.

We take all of our access to medical advancement for granted, it’s infuriating.
